Hollywood’s conservative, Christian box office megastar gave a huge political endorsement in local politics just days ahead of the crucial midterms. Chris Pratt, known for triggering leftist snowflakes, dismissed the idea Los Angelinos should vote for the communist-sympathizing and supremely unimpressive Karen Bass.
Bass is currently serving in Congress and is running her mayoral in part on her record on homelessless and crime. Good luck with that.
In a post shared to social media, Pratt made it clear why he is voting against the Democrat candidate, a possibly worse replacement for current mayor Eric Garcetti, if that’s possible. Pratt wrote:
“I’ve lived in LA for over 20 years. It’s been great to me,” Pratt wrote on Instagram. “In that time I’ve seen what many residents here have seen, the city’s gradual decline into pain and utter disarray. If you live here, you know exactly what I’m talking about.”
“I don’t normally support political candidates. But in this election, there’s too much to lose,” Pratt continued. “If you’re an LA voter, I urge you to vote for @rickcarusola. He’s a builder. He knows how to get s**t done. He’s the guy for our city. Rick Caruso for LA Mayor.”

I defy anyone who has lives in the L.A. area for two decades to celebrate its current state of affairs. While the California city has always dealt with homelessness, crime, and sundry ailments that come from being run by Democrats in a Democrat-run state, it wasn’t always this bad.
Pratt is exhibiting as much common sense as humanly possible. It’s gotten worse under Democrats, Karen Bass is pretty much a communist and will only make it worse, so to stop the bleeding you shouldn’t vote for them. No doubt a soplid take, and one that the Hollywood elitist cabal will despise.
And it isn’t just Pratt saying it. Elon Musk hopped aboard the Rick Caruso train earlier this summer, tweeting his unqualified support for the anti-Karen candidate, a billionaire real-estate mogul
“Los Angeles is fortunate to have someone like Rick Caruso running for mayor. He’s awesome,” Musk tweeted. “My political leanings are moderate, so neither fully Republican nor Democrat, which I am confident is the case for most Americans. Executive competence is super underrated in politics — we should care about that a lot more!”
CBS Los Angeles noted that the race will likely be close, despite starting off in the overwhelming favor for Bass. Polls continue to show her gradual decline, now under 50%, with a huge amount of voters undecided. Many pollsters and pundits suggest the majority of undecideds will break for the Republicans.
Congresswoman Bass’ opponent, real estate developer Rick Caruso, has gained a lot of ground and a new poll published by the UC Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies reported that Bass’ advantage is down to 45% among likely voters.
Thirteen percent of voters are still undecided, according to the poll sponsored by the Los Angeles Times.
Caruso, a relative unknown outside of California politics, is described by Wikipedian as having some experience managing various entities:
He is the chair of the board of trustees at the University of Southern California and was previously the president of the Los Angeles Police Commission and a member of the Board of Water and Power Commissioners.
