Actress and Christian Candace Cameron Bure was full of praises for her fans after her faith-based TV network, Great American Family, shared news concerning a monster jump in its ratings this week. Bure, 47, is the sister of popular Christian actor and activist Kirk Cameron.

According to The Daily Wire, Bure posted a screenshot on social media on Tuesday of a press release that came from the Great American Media that revealed details about the network’s ratings increase. The actress is also a producer and content developer for the network, along with starring in some of the projects.

“Thank You,” Bure stated in writing over a story posted on Instagram, which also featured some images of balloons and confetti. The press release stated that Great American Family is “leading all networks in year-over-year viewership increases for the seventh consecutive month.”

“According to Nielsen Media Research, Great American Family also retained its position as TV’s fastest growing network in both [Second quarter 2023] to date and 2023 [Year to Date] with the largest gains in Total Day and Primetime viewership among both Households and Total Viewers,” it continued.

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Bure discussed joining the network and stated that she was interested in helping to craft “faith-filled” stories “that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them.”

Bure decided to part ways with Hallmark after the network started to create content that pushed LGBTQ themes and agendas, which included their very first original holiday film to focus on a same-sex couple last December, “The Holiday Sitter.”

“I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment,” the “Full House” actress went on to say, pointing out that Hallmark had more or less become “a completely different network” than when she signed on due to a “change of leadership.”
