Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) went on a wild screed where he accused the Trump administration and ICE of corruption, unlawfully detaining over 170 US citizens, terrorizing communities, and undermining local police trust through raids in California, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. In it, he admitted to having stayed in the United States illegally.
For context, now-Rep. Garcia was born in Peru and migrated to the US at age 5. His family overstayed their visa, becoming undocumented until gaining citizenship under Reagan’s 1986 amnesty law. The former Long Beach mayor describes himself as the first openly gay immigrant in Congress.
Starting the clip full of his absurd comments, the far-left, pro-mass migration California Democrat claimed, “I mean, look, every American should be concerned about what’s happening right now with ICE and with DHS and with a corrupt administration that is completely out of control, as ICE is right now.”
“We’re seeing what’s happening in Minneapolis, what happened to obviously Miss Good, but it’s also happening across the country, and there were really serious actions that happened here in California and Los Angeles just a few months ago. Raids continue,” the radical legislator went on to angrily complain.
Whining more, he added, “People are being kidnapped off the streets. When you look at what’s happening in Minnesota on the ground, and somehow, a prosecution of the governor and the mayor because Donald Trump doesn’t like what they’re doing, and because they’re actually trying to stand up for people also on the ground.”
Refusing to accept any responsibility, Garcia blamed the Trump administration. “This is an administration that is so inherently corrupt, and they have turned our law enforcement agencies, our federal law enforcement agencies, against our own people. They are now turning our agencies against our own people, and that’s what should be very concerning to everyone,” the Democrat alleged.
Still not done, the irritating lawmaker alleged, “Look what ICE is doing, and I talked to a lot of law enforcement, local law enforcement police officers, particularly those in my city, they are damaging the trust between local law enforcement police officers have worked so hard to rebuild, especially in the last five, six years, that rebuilding is being decimated by what ICE is doing.”

Wrapping up his absurd comments, the Democrat claimed, “Right now, people are viewing law enforcement on the ground as one force, and it’s very concerning. Everyone should be up in arms. Christina should resign, certainly be removed from office, and we’re, of course, all watching what’s happening in Minnesota now very closely.”

Reacting to the clip, a popular conservative quipped, “Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) illegally stayed in the US from Peru by overstaying a visa. He was wrongly given amnesty, and he cheated his way into Congress. Now he thinks he gets to decide how immigration in the US works. Here’s a better idea, deport him.”
Commenting under the post, one conservative interjected, “Denaturalize!!!! GET HIM OUT! . . . I guess We the people need to show them the real true AMERICAN WAY TO HANDLE INTRUDERS? Just asking.” Agreeing, another suggested, “The cheek of these people. Do they think of they yell loudly enough we wouldn’t dare look into them ?”
