San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa’s jersey sales have reportedly skyrocketed after he flashed a white Make America Great Again hat during an NBC postgame interview.  Following his public expression of support for former President Donald Trump, the official NFL Shop listed Boas’s jersey as the “Most Popular Men’s Jersey.”

The popular sports X account, MLFootball explained that not only was the jersey the most popular on the online store, but was also sold out in many in-person stores nationwide.  “#49ers DE Nick Bosa’s jersey has become the MOST POPULAR jersey on the NFL Shop since Bosa wore a Donald Trump, MAGA cap on Sunday night.  Bosa’s jersey has also sold out or nearly in many in-person stores across the country, “MLFootball wrote, breaking the news on X.

After Bosa proudly displayed the MAGA hat on live television, the star defensive end was asked about the move in a post-game press conference.  Having little to say about his political opinions, he succinctly stated, “I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time.”

Following Bosa’s selection as the number-two draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, then-president Donald Trump reached out to congratulate him.  “Congratulations to Nick Bosa on being picked number two in the NFL Draft,” Trump said.  “You will be a great player for years to come, maybe one of the best. Big Talent! San Francisco will embrace you but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Several other prominent active and former football players have also expressed their support for Trump, such as NFL legend Brett Favre.  “I can tell you one thing, I knew I would come back to Green Bay at various times, but I never thought I would come back in this setting,” the former quarterback said at a recently rally with former President Trump in Wisconsin. “There’s never been a more important time in our lives than right now in this election.” Favre continued, “Much like the Packer organization, Donald Trump and his organization is a winner. The United States of America won with his leadership.”

The American Tribune also reported on Harrison Butker offering his endorsement to Trump, praising the Republican candidate’s pro-life values.  Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked Butker, “You’re supporting Hawley, does this mean you’re supporting Donald Trump?” The kicker responded, “Well, I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president. I think Donald Trump…topic that is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize, and that’s obviously what Senator Hawley is doing as a man of faith.”

Ingraham further asked Butker, “Is there any equivocation about supporting Trump? I mean, were it not for Trump, Roe versus Wade would have not been overturned, obviously, right?” The Kansas City Chiefs star replied, ” I think you you have to vote for whoever’s going to be the most pro life, and we have to be prayerful men that put God first and I think that’s what’s going to be best for our country. Harrison.”
