Those hoping “The Boss” might put country ahead of party and ideology this election day and follow the footsteps of brave Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens in refusing to back Abdul El-Sayed for the Michigan US Senate seat he is bitterly wrangling with Mike Rogers for are sorely disappointed, as Bruce Springsteen stepped in at the last moment to fully back the radical Democratic candidate.
Such is what Springsteen did in a post he made on both X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, declaring himself to be a full and unabashed support of the socialist-leaning, Islamist candidate who has known ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and whose own sister was on a terror watchlist during the Obama Administration.
In the post, Springsteen insisted that President Trump is “corrupt” and “lawless,” absolutely absurd accusations given Springsteen’s support of the Biden regime and its continual scandals and debacles, and that El-Sayed would fight for America and the Constitution against the supposedly un-American or anti-American MAGA movement.
Doing so, the washed-up classic rock star wrote, “Dr. El-Sayed is a fighter for our American Constitution, he’s a fighter for our American Democracy, and he’s a fighter against the corrupt, lawless, and anti-American leadership currently in the White House. That’s why I’m in his corner 100%.”
As could be expected, conservatives in his replies on X went absolutely nuclear and skewered him repeatedly for his claims, insinuations, and decisions. “You should do a concert for his family in the Muslim Brotherhood,” wrote one. “Your most popular song is a satire mocking Americans, nobody cares what you think,” said another. “Traitor,” still a third wrote.
Another commenter contrasted Springsteen’s past actions with what he is currently up to, saying, “Bruce Springsteen who performed at the concert for NY at MSG on 2001 after 9/11….. is now campaigning for a Muslim brotherhood sympathizer. Holy f-ck did I not have this on my bingo card for today.”
Others left messages of scorn and disappointment like, “Your first post in nearly two years and it’s for El Sayed? Pathetic” and “What a POS you turned out to be. I am embarrassed I ever was a fan of yours.” “Abdul campaigned with a guy who said that he wipes his ass with the Constitution,” wrote another, referencing Hasan Piker.

On much the same note, another said, “Bruce Springsteen, the guy who spent 40 years cashing in on “Born in the USA,” finally posts after two years of silence just to call an elected American president “corrupt, lawless, and anti-American” while locking arms with Abdul El-Sayed, the same guy who campaigned with Hasan Piker (the streamer who said America deserved 9/11) and still can’t shake the Muslim Brotherhood questions about his own family. The Boss isn’t fighting for the Constitution. He’s just another rich coastal has-been who needs a new reason to hate the country that made him. Does anyone else immediately shut off his music whenever it comes on now? I know I am not the only one.”
