BREAKING: Trump Makes Dan Bongino Deputy Director of the FBI to Take on the Deep State

In some massive news announced on his Truth Social social media platform at nearly 9 pm in the evening on the night of Sunday, February 23, President Donald Trump announced that he had made former Secret Service agent and current political commentator Dan Bongino the Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI).

In the post, President Trump mainly focused on how Mr. Bongino will be able to help Senate-confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel turn the agency around, and help it move from being an agency seemingly weaponized against conservatives by the Deep State to one that fairly administers justice and takes on the criminal elements in our country.

Beginning the post, President Trump framed the news as being huge news for law enforcement officers in America, and justice generally. He said, “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel.”

Continuing, Trump described Bongino’s background and work history, saying, “Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve.”

Concluding, Trump said Bongino would work with Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Patel to turn the agency around in a big way, thus turning America around too. He wrote, “Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”

In a follow up post, President Trump noted that Bongino has a wife and two children, showing he is a man who cares deeply about the future of the country, as his children will inherit it. The president said, “Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!”

Bongino, for his part, posted a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social announcement on X (formerly Twitter) and thanked the three involved with it – Attorney General Pam Bondi, the head of the Department of Justice and thus FBI, FBI Director Patel, and President Trump. He wrote, “Thank you Mr. President, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel.”

Indicating the direction things are going to go in his administration in yet another Truth Social post, President Trump called on Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk to get even more aggressive in slashing waste, fraud, and abuse to save the country, writing, “ELON IS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET MORE AGGRESSIVE. REMEMBER, WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE, BUT ULTIMATELY, TO MAKE GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. MAGA!”
