In absolutely heartwarming, most welcome, and most unexpected news, Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld and his wife Elena have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Gutfeld took to X to announce the news on the night of Tuesday, December 10, joking that he had managed to keep a secret quite well.

In that tweet about the great news about his family life, the FNC host thanked all those online who left kind messages for him and said that he would be back soon, and patted himself on the back for managing to keep the secret so well. He said, “see, thats how you keep a secret. thanks to all the nice words! see ya in a few!”

It felt to one of Gutfled’s usual shows on FNC, “The Five,” to announce the great news about his new baby daughter. Doing so fell to co-host of The Five Jesse Watters, who directed his comments about the matter to fellow co-host Dana Perino. Watters said, “It’s time now for one more thing, Dana. Well, check this out.”

Continuing, Watters said, “You know, I’m at Dana’s baby brigade, and this is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you.” Perino chimed in and read it, saying, “You might have noticed that our friend Greg Gutfeld hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks, and it’s for with a good reason. This is a statement that he sent me today, so I’m reading this as if I am Greg.”

Perino then got to Greg Gutfeld’s statement on the matter, saying, “‘It is with great joy that my wife, Elena, and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs. She has Elena’s beautiful eyes and my rock hard abs. We are hard at work teaching her three languages and putting her through rigorous workout routine.'”

Then, joking in good fun at his good-natured co-host’s expense and obviously having a fun time with it and the pretend stories about his healthy baby girl, Gutfeld said in the statement, and Dana Perino read it, “‘She’s already very observant and has asked if Jesse wears a toupee. I told her that he definitely wears a wig.'”

Gutfeld concluded the statement by saying, “‘As you can understand, we value our privacy and we thank everyone for the good wishes, and now I have to go stop Gus from licking her face.'” Watters added, “Congratulations, Greg, Elena and Mira, welcome to the world. We are excited for you and enjoy this time together. We miss you, but we we are there in spirit that’s not changing diapers. Some of us miss you. Others are enjoying the time without you. Take as long as you want.” Watch that here:
