BREAKING: DOJ Begins Arrests of Leftists Who Stormed Church With Don Lemon

In a post on X that announced the Department of Justice is finally doing what conservatives online have been demanding it do since Sunday afternoon, Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed that it and related agencies have begun arresting the leftists who stormed Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on the morning of Sunday, January 18.

For reference, the crowd of angry leftists stormed Cities Church because leftist social media personalities claimed that the church’s pastor, David Easterwood, is the Field Office Director of ICE in the area. Once they had stormed the religious facility, they harassed the churchgoers, a clear violation of the FACE Act.

Now, the DOJ has finally started arresting people. Announcing as much in a post on X that came mid-morning on Thursday, January 22, AG Pondi revealed that the first arrest came thanks to the DHS and FBI, saying, “Minutes ago at my direction, @HSI_HQ and @FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota.”

Continuing, she described who was arrested, pointing to an infamous leftist agitator. She said, “So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.” She then vowed, “We will share more updates as they become available. Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP.”

Following up on that first post with a comment attached to it about half an hour later, the attorney general noted that a second leftist had been arrested, saying, “UPDATE: A second arrest has been made at my direction. Chauntyll Louisa Allen has been taken into custody. More to come. WE WILL PROTECT OUR HOUSES OF WORSHIP 🙏🏻”

FBI Director Kash Patel chimed in as well, noting that the first arrest came because the leftist agitator who was arrested is accused of violating the FACE Act, saying, “This morning FBI and partners @HSI_HQ executed an arrest of Nekima Levy Armstrong – one of the individuals who allegedly organized the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota this last weekend – on a violation of the FACE Act.”

Adding to that later on with another post, the FBI Director noted that the second arrest was also premised on the allegation that the leftist agitator had violated the FACE Act, saying, “A second arrest has been made. Chauntyll Louisa Allen is now in custody, also on an alleged violation of the FACE Act – after targeting Cities Church in Minneapolis last weekend.”

Also posting on the matter was Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who runs the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division. She cheered the arrests, saying, “Our dial @CivilRights is set to FAFO. Stay tuned for more after! Thank you @AGPamBondi for the strong and clear leadership!!”

Posting about the matter on the 18th, AG Bondi said, “I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law. If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails.”
