“BOOT. HER. OUT.”: RINO Senator Skewered after She Again Betrays MAGA on the SAVE Act, Gives Absurd Excuse [WATCH]

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), whom many conservatives refer to as a Republican In Name Only (RINO), told a reporter with Blaze Media that she does not support the SAVE America Act as it is currently drafted, claiming it will ultimately disenfranchise a large portion of voters located in rural Alaska. The comment was made while Murkowski was hightailing it through a hallway, practically causing the reporter to jog to keep up with her.

“Where do you stand on the SAVE America Act? Do you support getting this legislation passed to protect our elections?” the reporter asked Murkowski. The Alaska Republican replied by saying, “Not as it is drafted, no.” The reporter followed up by asking Murkowski to explain why she was not in favor of the bill to preserve election integrity.

“The implementation in a rural state like Alaska is going to disenfranchise an extraordinary majority. And while I support citizenship voting and voting ID, I want to make sure it’s implementable,” Murkowski said as she slipped into an office. And this is not the first time Murkowski has claimed that the bill will disenfranchise rural voters in her state.

In March 2026, during a debate on the SAVE America Act in the Senate, Murkowski delivered a long speech delving a bit deeper into why she’s not backing the legislation as it is currently drafted. “While disenfranchisement may not be the intent of the SAVE America Act … I think that we will see that. In fact, I fully expect it to be an outcome of this,” Murkowski stated during her address.

If the bill becomes law it will require that voters present proof of their citizenship in order to register to vote, as well as presenting a photo ID to actually cast a ballot at the polls. It was designed to prevent illegal aliens from being able to participate in important federal elections, which is a right that belongs to citizens alone. “This would be a major, major departure from how most Alaskans currently register to vote,” Murkowski complained, according to the Alaska Beacon.

The report then reveals that in 2024, 29,000 Alaskans registered to vote. If the SAVE America Act had been law at the time, 25,000 would have allegedly run into issues during registration. Conservatives feel the real problem this exposes is not that obtaining proof of citizenship and presenting photo ID is difficult, but that many of these individuals are refusing to show they are legally allowed to vote.

In the conservative view, it means a large number of individuals in Alaska and other rural states lack proper identification, raising suspicions that a significant portion of illegal aliens are indeed trying to vote in U.S. federal elections. The vast majority of the registrations in Alaska are done online. Murkowski alleges that requiring in-person registration would have a huge impact on the state.

An individual who commented on the viral video clip on social media platform X went on to say, “Typical Murkowski! Dodging accountability like it’s an Olympic sport. Time to pass the SAVE Act and secure our elections!” Another user accused Murkowski of rigging her own election, writing, “Murkowski is a fraud. She rigged her own election and that’s a fact.”
