Bongino Announces Major Personnel Changes in the FBI As Bureau is “Closing In” On Suspects Responsible for Major J6 Scandal

As May was drawing to a close, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made some big announcements about what is happening at the bureau, saying both that it is making some major personnel changes and that it is zeroing in on who planted the pipe bombs on January 6, a recurrent question raised by many who suspect something fishy was going on.

Deputy Director Bongino’s comments on the pipe bomb matter came when, on Thursday, May 29, he was speaking to Fox & Friends about the developing situation inside the FBI and how he has discovered much since taking over, such as a room full of evidence from the James Comey days.

Commenting during that interview on the pipe bomb issue, which regards who planted two pipe bombs near the US Capitol, outside the Republican and Democratic National Committees’ headquarters, on January 6, 2021, as the day spiralled out of control. Bongino said the FBI is close to solving the four-year mystery, which many on the MAGA side of politics have long thought hints at something conspiratorial becuase it was never solved, even as many individuals who trespassed in the Capitol were caught and arrested.

Speaking to the show’s co-hosts about that, Bongino said that addressing it has been a priority since he got into the FBI, saying, “The second we got in, I put a team on it and I said, ‘I want answers on this.'” He added that progress is happening, saying, “And I’m pretty confident that we’re closing in on some suspects.”

A few days later, on Sunday, June 1, Deputy Director Bongino took to X to slam the New York Times for a ridiculous hit piece on the bureau’s new leadership, noting that some major personnel changes are taking place and won’t be stopped even as the media complains about it.

Posting a picture of a paragraph in a recent NYT article attacking Bongino and Patel for personnel turnover inside the agency, Bongino said the complaints from the MSM wouldn’t slow his attempts at reforms down. He wrote, “The latest NY Times piece is another failed attempt to slow us down. The Director and I are making important personnel changes at the FBI.”

Continuing, he re-emphasized a point about accountability inside the FBI being needed and happening at breakneck speed as he and Director Kash Patel hold those who broke their oaths to account for doing so. He wrote, “As I stated on this platform yesterday: ‘The accountability process is ongoing as we move disciplined, and focused, leaders into critical positions in the field. And, we are removing employees who have violated their oaths, and those who invited partisanship into the workplace. The process is ongoing, and will not stop.’”

Concluding, he re-emphasized his point about not giving up on those goals of reform and accountability even as the woke media complex comes for him, saying, “I want to emphasize the “will not stop” portion of my post. There’s no amount of leaks, or media hit pieces, that will stop the Director and I from making absolutely NECESSARY reforms. None.”
