In a massive election integrity bombshell, Arlanda Brantley, a former employee of the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, was charged with election fraud for her actions during the 2024 election. Allegedly, she altered part affiliation records and voter registration cards as part of her unsuccessful scheme.
For context, conservatives have long speculated about widespread voter fraud in deep blue cities. Unsecured voting systems, like the one found in Connecticut, are ripe for abuse and fraud as was shown in this situation.
In any case, the story was broken on January 31, 2025, by prominent conservative Scott Presley. He said, “‼️Connecticut Election Fraud‼️Arlanda Brantley — who is a state employee w/ the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services — has been charged w/ fraudulent voter registration.”
Providing additional context, he said, “It is alleged that Brantley registered voters during an event at the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network on September 17th, 2024 — National Voter Registration Day. Afterwards, she reportedly altered voter party affiliation from “No” or “Republican” to “Democrat” (w/o consent from the voters). While inspecting the voter registration cards, the Torrington, CT, clerk determined they had been altered & notified the police.”
In the comments under Presler’s post, conservatives chimed in to express their rage. One such comment said, “I’m here in CT, and my wife and I just checked and noticed that her party registration status is now “Unaffiliated”. She’s been a registered Republican for 30 years. This state remains Democratic mainly because of this type of election corruption.” Another replied, “I just updated my own voter registration, I am no longer an independent, I am a Republican.🥰 It was a proud moment for me.” Another Connecticut conservative said, “Connecticut is a very corrupt Democratic state. The state constitution was permanently changed to allow mail in ballots for any reason in 2024.”
Slamming the Democrats, many users noted the repeat pattern of Blue State election fraud. One user declared, “Democrats go through 3 stages every election cycle. Stage 1 – Voter fraud doesn’t exist! Stage 2 – OK, it exists, but it’s not widespread. Stage 3 – OK, it is widespread, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome of the election, so it doesn’t matter.”
Responding in a lengthy post, one user said, “Election fraud is a serious issue that undermines our democracy, great job exposing this Scott, we need to ensure the integrity of our elections. This is exactly why voter ID laws are necessary, to prevent fraudulent activities like this from happening. We must hold people like Arlanda Brantley accountable for their actions and work towards creating a fair and transparent electoral system.”

Rounding out the comments, one reply advocated for harsher punishments, saying, “1 – Make voter fraud penalties 25 years no parole minimum. 2 – Setup whistleblower financial rewards to initiate ongoing oversight and regular reviews of voter registrations as well as tabulations.…It’s the only source of resistance to tyranny that a free people have…” Responding, another user wondered if this would be enough to discourage future fraudsters; “Are we starting to see real consequences? Or are these trivial cases being used to pretend that something is being done about ballot fraud? This person is just a tiny minnow in an ocean full of sharks and whales.”
