Laura Garrett, a 33-year-old Florida woman, was arrested by the Largo Police Department for allegedly attacking a 72-year-old man who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. She was charged with battery on a person older than 65, battery on a police officer, and obstructing or resisting an officer without violence.
For context, liberals have been driven insane by the brave actions and reforms of President Trump and have often let their emotions get the best of them in unacceptable attacks on Trump supporters. Unfortunately, this trend seems to be accelerating after the president’s historic 2024 electoral victory.
In any case, the alleged criminal admitted she confronted the man about his support for Donald Trump. Apparently, Garret dumped her drink on the unnamed Republican and hit him with a can before running away from the scene of the incident. When she was confronted by police, Garret tripped one of the arresting officers, causing him to fall. One of the officers was lightly injured in the struggle, prompting another charge of battery.
Reacting to the case, prominent conservative influencer Libs of TikTok took to social media on May 23, 2025. She posted, “Meet Laura Garrett. She’s facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking an elderly Trump supporter wearing a MAGA hat Garrett allegedly approached the man to ask why he supports Trump then poured a can she was holding on the victim’s head and hit him on the back of his head She was also charged with battery of a police officer and resisting arrest,” adding, “Why do they ALWAYS have the blue hair???”
In the comments under her post, users roasted Garrett for her alleged crime with a series of hilarious comments. One such response read, “When I was younger the rule was avoid women who wear blue eye shadow because it meant they were crazy. Seems today they want to make it even clearer so they just dye their entire head blue.”
Providing additional detail, a comment noted, “She fled the scene, jumping a fence. Then, when officers caught up with her she resisted arrest by dropping to the ground and wrapping her legs around the officer, causing him to fall. So basically a typical Democrat nutjob.”
Slamming the woke left, another user stated, “More than half the country voted for Trump. Does she want to fight half the country? This is what mental illness looks like.” Agreeing, another comment read, “I’ve never wanted to walk up to a stranger and ask them why they voted a certain way. Why would I care? And why would I care enough to then attack them? These people are nuts.”
