    Biden Faces Growing Calls for Impeachment Amid FBI Informant Testimony, Trump Indictment

    President Joe Biden is facing increasing calls for Republicans to impeach him.  The demands come amid an FBI informant’s allegations against the president, claiming that Joe and Hunter Biden acted in a bribery scheme in 2015 and 2016.  This development occurs as former president Donald Trump is facing a controversial indictment.

    Last week, the FBI permitted the House Oversight Committee Republicans to access the transcripts of an interview with the informant who alleges that Joe and Hunter Biden were paid $5 million each to assist a Ukrainian natural gas company executive in ending a corruption investigation into him.  Soon after this move, former president Donald Trump was charged by the Justice Department for his possession of classified documents under the Espionage Act.  This is the first time in history that a president of the United States has been charged under this act.

    Breitbart tweeted a video of Donald Trump reacting to the news last week after his attorneys had learned the Biden administration’s Department of Justice would indict him in the case against him about the classified documents.

    In the video, Trump maintains his innocence, claiming this is just the latest “hoax,” claiming it is “election interference at the highest level.”  Trump alleged his indictment is just a continuation of seven years of political attacks against him.  The former president stated he was innocent and would hopefully be able to prove that quickly.

    In light of these events, conservative political figures have been demanding action from Republicans who hold a majority in the House of Representatives.  Democrats impeached Trump twice, and many feel the GOP has sufficient evidence to enact impeachment on Biden.

    Joy Pullmann, the executive editor of The Federalist, recently published a scathing article titled “It’s Past Time For Republicans To Impeach Biden And All His Top Officials.”  The report slammed the indictment, calling it a “scam” and a “farce,” pointing out that plenty of other politicians have possessed similar documents.  Pullmann further alleges Democrats have been “shredding political, legal, and cultural norms required to preserve a self-governing republic.”  She further claims for decades, the Democrats have been “using the Constitution as so much toilet paper.”

    Pullmann argues that Democrats have consolidated immense power in Washington and have abused it in many cases.  She skewers Republicans for their inaction against such abuses, slamming futile investigations that lead to nowhere.  As the title of her article suggests, it’s time for the GOP to step up and get something done by impeaching Joe Biden.

    Subsequently, endless Republican figures have rallied and stepped up calls for action against the Biden administration.  These include conservative commentators on Twitter, such as Catturd, who unapologetically stated, “STOP TALKING S**T AND DO SOMETHING!”

    Many Republican members of Congress, such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, and Rep. Andy Biggs have also made aggressive claims calling for Biden’s impeachment.  The House members have indicated action must be taken against Biden given the evidence obtained about the alleged international bribery scheme.  House Speaker Kevin McCarthy also weighed in, slamming Biden’s weaponization of the federal government.
