In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), beloved Fox News Channel personality Kat Timpf, known best for her role alongside Greg Gutfeld on his show “Gutfeld,” gave an update on her battle with cancer, a battle that she discovered just before she gave birth to a baby boy in late February of 2025. Timpf said she’s managing to fight the cancer well.
As background, Timpf first announced her cancer diagnosis in the mid-afternoon on February 25, 2025, in a post on X. In the post, the beloved FNC personality said that she was getting ready to give birth when doctors informed her that she had breast cancer. Mere hours later, she gave birth to her baby boy.
Giving a lighthearted update on X, Timpf described how she is working her way back to normalcy after the childbirth and fight against cancer. She said, “Once I recover from childbirth, my mole removal scars heal, I get a double mastectomy, get rid of my cancer, have breast reconstruction surgery & am physically capable of getting back in the gym it’s OVER FOR U BITCHEZ #MILF”
That came after a first update that Timpf gave a few days after her original post, on the 28th of February, Timpf gave an update on her cancer battle and fighting it. She did so in a candid video of herself describing the situation that she posted to X with the caption, “Answering a few questions! Try not to lose ur mind over how good I look ”
In that video, she commented on the situation and the crazy comments she’s gotten with terrible medical advice. Beginning, she said, “Hi everybody. It’s me. First of all, thank you so much for all the support. It’s meant so much to me. This is obviously a really crazy, difficult, unexpected time, and I really do appreciate it. But I wanted to address a few things, because I’ve also been overwhelmed with, I guess you would say, medical advice.”
Continuing, she gave an example of the advice and how ridiculous it is, saying, “People being like, well, you know, my aunt had stage zero and she just needed a lumpectomy. Or I’m a nurse and a double mastectomy for stage zero seems extreme. And I just want to say, Trust me, there’s no one for whom that seems more extreme than me. I don’t take cutting my tits off like lightly as a general rule, I don’t think any woman does.”
She then commented on the real medical help she is getting and how it is some of the best possible. She spoke about that aspect of it by, saying, “I find it devastating, but I am very grateful to have access to the opinions of many brilliant minds when it comes to breast cancer. I have been very lucky to have a team that is very knowledgeable on this talk to a lot of different people, and the focus of all these conversations is what’s the best thing to do to keep me alive?”

Concluding, she commented on her baby boy and promised to do what is best. Doing so, she said, “So I’m around for my son for a long time, and every case of breast cancer is very different. There are a lot of details of mine that I haven’t shared, but I just want to say, you know, trust that I’m making the best decision for me and my family, and I’m getting the best medical advice that I could possibly be getting. So that’s pretty much it. I’ll see you guys soon. Bye.”
