Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign recently made a claim so egregious that even ABC News set the record straight. During the rally, two individuals reportedly had medical emergencies, which led Trump to pause the event and play music. Subsequently, Harris suggested that something was wrong with Trump for pausing and dancing to the music.
While sharing footage of Trump, the Kamala HQ account wrote on X, “Trump appears lost, confused, and frozen on stage as multiple songs play for 30+ minutes and the crowd pours out of the venue early.” Kamala Harris also commented, “Hope he’s okay.” However, after ABC verified what really happened, conservative social media users have celebrated online as it represents “another narrative” that has been “destroyed.”
Conservative commentator Collin Rugg reported, “ABC News debunks the Harris campaign’s claim that Trump had a “senior moment” on stage, *compliments* him for how he handled the situation. Another narrative destroyed. ABC News says Trump decided to change things up after a couple of supporters had medical emergencies at his Oaks, PA rally.”
Rugg reported on a series of quotes from the ABC News segment which sharply contrasts Harris’ account of what happened, “30 minutes in, two attendees suffered medical emergencies.”…”The incidents shifted the mood, prompting Trump to cut the question short and instead play some of his favorite music.” “In certain quarters of social media, people had a field day with that. And I guess on the screens, it might have looked quite strange.”…”Inside that hall, however, people were having a good time. What can I tell you? It did not seem out of the ordinary.”…”It seemed almost intimate. And at the end, Trump did something he very rarely does. He came down off the stage and mingled with his supporters.”…”He was signing autographs and shaking hands.”
After it was proven that the Harris campaign’s take on the incident was blatantly false and that former President Trump was actually leading the crowd in having a genuinely good time, users on social media slammed the vice president over the deceptive narrative.
“It’s bad when ABC is fact-checking Harris. I’m sure everyone there had a good time, and I noticed the host even mentioned the fact that it was a slow dwindling of attendees and most people stayed to enjoy the moment. You will NEVER see Kamala in personal situations like this,” conservative commentator Gunther Eagleman said.
“Wow! ABC actually stating the truth. Has hell frozen over? I watched that town hall and it was AMAZING. How Trump changed it all up and gave the people having an emergency the respect and time they deserved. And Kamala then tried to say he was dazed and confused as people started leaving early,” another person said.
“Trump shows compassion and class! – Medical emergencies at PA rally – Swiftly adapts, plays music – Mingles with supporters, signs autographs ABC News debunks “senior moment” claim, exposing Harris campaign’s misinformation. Truth prevails!” another person weighed in on the fact-check from ABC News.
