After she was initially charged in 2018, Boston Municipal Court Judge Shelley Joseph is set to appear at a hearing after she allegedly helped an illegal immigrant sneak out from her courtroom to evade ICE. The date is scheduled for June 9, and the court will determine if she is guilty of “willful judicial misconduct” after she allowed a twice-deported illegal immigrant to escape from justice.
For context, President Trump has been plagued by judicial freezes and outright insubordination from woke activist judges. The most significant case was when Judge James Boasberg blocked Trump from invoking the Alien Enemies Act to deport dangerous Tren De Argua members, prompting a massive legal battle.
In any case, Donnie Cope, a prominent conservative voice, posted his reaction to the news on April 30, 2025. He declared, “Judge In Boston – Shelley Joseph – charged with helping illegal immigrant sneak out of courtroom to avoid ICE agents there to arrest and deport him.. He said, Boston Municipal Court Judge Shelley Joseph is set to have a hearing after she allegedly helped an illegal migrant leave her courtroom via a backdoor to avoid being arrested, deported by ICE back in 2018.”
Explaining additional details, he said, “Joseph will be in court June 9th on charges of ‘willful judicial misconduct’ after she allowed the twice-deported migrant to run before ICE could get to him.
Joseph is accused of violating the “code of judicial conduct” by “failing to comply with the law.” This after Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested last Friday on charges of helping an illegal migrant from Mexico with a violent criminal history evade ICE agents in her courtroom, by sneaking Eduardo Flores-Ruiz out through a jury room.”
Speaking to a similar case involving Judge Hannah Dugan, he provided additional context. Cope wrote, “Dugan was accused of obstruction of justice and concealing Flores-Ruiz from arrest. He was initially deported in 2013 and was arrested outside the court room after a foot chase. Dugan has been suspended by the Wisconsin Supreme Court as she faces federal charges.”
Commenting on a picture of the disgraced judge crying while being arrested, he said, “The only reason she is crying is because she got caught. They need to prosecute every judge that is breaking the law. These judges need to think about if this is really worth losing their career over. They need to go by the law and do Americans right,” adding, “If your gonna break the laws, you gotta be willing to face the consequences. They are not above the law, even if they are Liberal judges!”
Enraged by the woke judge, conservatives flocked to the comments of another conservative influencer to express their anger. One such comment said, “Every single mayor of a sanctuary city needs to be indicted of same crime illegal immigration is a crime that’s why it has ILLEGAL in the description, any city official that turns a blind eye to this or instructs his people to ignore the crime are aiding and abetting PERIOD.” Pointing out the blatant hypocrisy, another said, “So just to be clear, if you help a violent criminal dodge ICE, you’re called ‘compassionate,’ but if you help a citizen protect their border, you’re called ‘extreme’? Got it.”
