Former First Lady Michelle Obama hit the campaign trail for Vice President and 2024 Democratic candidate Kamala Harris on Saturday, October 26, arguing in her ridiculous stump speech that Americans are “racist” and “sexist” if they look aghast at Kamala Harris and don’t vote for her. Predictably, Michelle was flamed over her comments online.
As background, during her ridiculous speech, Michelle Obama ignored the basic fact that VP Harris, who didn’t run in the primary and only became the nominee because the elderly President Biden dropped out of the race after winning the primary handily, is just an unlikeable candidate to average Americans, who view her flip-flopping and leftist policies with horror.
During her Michigan speech, Michelle said, in part, ”If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage. So are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them you supported this assault on our safety?”
She added, attacking those who don’t want to vote for her, that the real question is whether America is “ready” for her. She said, “I lay awake at night wondering what in the world is going on. The question for me isn’t whether Kamala is ready for this moment…the real question is, as a country, are we ready for this moment?”
Republican X personality Steve Cortes, commenting on her speech, said, “🚨Michele Obama suggests Americans who don’t vote to elect Kamala Harris are sexist and racist.” Commenting on his post, one person asked, “Are any other conservatives tired of being called sexist and racist just because they want to afford their bills and have a safe community?”
Similarly, another commenter on his post sounded off on Michelle, saying, “So sick of @MichelleObama and her race baiting rhetoric. Can’t she just retire to her mansions and stfu so we can fix the country her husband broke??” Another said that Michelle is “Truly a hateful person who said America was never great yet she’s now richer than 90 % of Americans.”
Fox News Channel analyst Brit Hume, quote tweeting Cortes’ post, said, “Poor Michele. America is always disappointing her.” Similarly, FNC and Townhall personality Guy Benson said that the claims like those pushed by Michelle are getting tiresome, saying, “The problem isn’t their phony, extreme, deeply unimpressive candidate, you see. It’s America. Tiresome schtick.” Watch the clip of Michelle that sparked so much fury here:
On a very different note, X personality Anna Lulis sounded off on Michelle’s comments on abortion, saying, “Michelle Obama just called the poisoning and dismemberment of unborn babies ‘basic care’ and fear-mongered young women by claiming they’d die under ‘abortion bans.’ That’s a lie. Pro-life laws don’t end lives—they save them. No law stops women from getting real care.”
Lulis added, as a comment on her post, “Anyone who says “abortion bans prevent care for miscarriages” is lying. Abortion is the direct and intentional killing of an innocent human child. Miscarriage is a spontaneous and unexpected passing of an innocent human child. There’s a difference.” Watch those abortion comments here:
