Former President Donald Trump continues to rack up endorsements as primary season grows near. Many notable GOP members have thrown their support behind the assumed nominee. House Speaker Mike Johnson, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem are but a few of the Republican heavyweights throwing their support behind the 45th President.
Outside of the political realm, many athletes and celebrities are coming out of the closet and expressing their support for Trump. Green Bay Packer legend Brett Favre, actor Dennis Quaid, actor James Woods, country superstar Jason Aldean, Kelsey Grammer, and “Sound of Freedom” star Jim Caviezel are only a small sampling of the influential voices stumping for the former President as he attempts to take back the White House and fix the country.
At a Turning Point America event in Phoenix, Arizona, recently, Trump got a fiery endorsement from comedy legend and outspoken conservative Roseanne Barr. In a rare serious turn, Barr fired up the crowd and delivered an impassioned speech that had the crowd in Phoenix on their feet. Barr read from Thomas Paine’s “The American Crisis” as she implored constituents to support Trump. She read: “I call not upon a few, but upon all; not on this state or that state, but on every state; up and help us; lay your shoulders to the wheel; better have too much force than too little, when so great an object is at stake.”
The crowd roared their approval with the formerly canceled namesake of the show, Roseanne. However, she then broke into her own words and left little to question about her loyalty and preference in 2024. She continued: “I’m just all in for President Trump. I just want to say that I’m just all in. I’m just I’ll add you know, I said I’m all in whatever you know, you just let me know I’m all in because I know if I ain’t all in my they’re gonna put my ass in a Gulag. If he lives as I know you know that what they’re gonna do and I don’t really want to go to re-education camp and have to give all my money away to a bunch of losers that never know how to get a job. I don’t care about them.”
What the comedy legend lacked in eloquence, she more than made up for in exuberance and passion. Roseanne clearly connected with the crowd and whipped them into a frenzy with her next comments. She continued: “If we don’t stop these horrible communists. Do you hear me? I’m asking you to hear me Stalinist communist with a huge helping of Nazi fascist thrown in … plus wanting a caliphate to replace every Christian democracy on Earth…”
She went on to congratulate the crowd for being “emotionally and intellectually alive during this great beatdown that we’re living through right now.” The big question still remains to be answered: are enough people emotionally and intellectually alive to help change the course of the nation? The 2024 election is shaping up to be one that could determine the course of the country for generations and maybe permanently.
Whatever regular people think about Roseanne throwing out terms like Stalinist and Nazi fascist, her premise is correct. The country needs a hard reset back to Christian principles and away from the extremist ideologies propagated by the Bidn Administration. Roseanne Barr may be a funny woman, but her message is deadly serious and one Americans need to hear and consider.
