On Friday, January 24, President Donald Trump and his stunningly beautiful wife, First Lady Melania Trump, ditched DC and headed to Asheville, North Carolina, where they spoke with survivors of the hurricane disaster who are still struggling to recover after months of little to no help from Biden and his FEMA, along with their own terrible insurance companies. Melania stunned in her outfit, drawing much praise online for making skinny jeans popular again.
Trump, announcing the trip on Truth Social, his social media platform created when he was kicked off Facebook and Twitter, posted a clip of Melania and himself speaking the the media before heading out. Captioning it, he said, “Departing the White House and headed to North Carolina and California…” In the video, Melania was wearing the same outfit that set the internet on fire throughout the day.
Describing Melania’s outfit, the FLOTUS Report X (formerly Twitter) account posted, “First Lady Melania Trump is wearing an olive colored Rag & Bone puffer coat with black leggings and black combat boots today. She completes her look with a black beanie and a beautiful pair of Victoria Beckham sunglasses. #FashionoftheFirstLady” However, it appears that Melania was in black skinny jeans, not leggings.
In any case, a commenter on the post praised Melania for her elegance and poise, writing, “Our wonderful First Lady Melania Trump always looks stunning. She has such great style and poise, a true icon for American women everywhere. Love the olive colored coat and black combat boots, so chic and elegant.”
Another wrote that, outfit aside, Melania did a wonderful job being warm and loving to those with whom she met during her trip to the stricken area, saying, “And most beautiful accessory of all was her heart!! Hugging our people of WNC!! Listening to them and loving on people who were forgotten and left out to freeze by the previous administration!!”
But it was the skinny jeans that took X by storm. For example, one account going by “Veronica” posted a picture of Melania with her husband and said that she brought them back with one picture, writing, “Wow, did Melania just bring skinny jeans, pilot sunglasses, and beanie hats back in style with one paparazzi shot??? I mean, whatever you say, mother.”
Another account, “Golden Boy,” wrote that if Melania brings back skinny jeans, that will make the Trump presidency the greatest ever, saying, “Melania bringing back skinny jeans would enshrine the Trump presidency as the greatest of all time.” That came as a quote tweet to a post from Johnny MAGA that declared, “Just insane levels of drip coming from the First Couple this morning 🔥

Also joining in was “Mambo Italiano,” which wrote, “Ladies, this is no joke. It’s no longer 2017, and now all eyes are on Melania Trump! Get ready for four years of stunning looks, flawless outfits, and jaw-dropping ensembles to admire and share. She’s no longer the underdog. FLOTUS is the Queen and she doesn’t miss a beat!”
Another poster, Jon Elder, said that Melania is “Making Skinny Jeans Great Again,” posting a picture of her looking stunning in the outfit and writing, “Melania Trump is making skinny jeans great again. My wife actually asked me recently if she could buy some baggy jeans. I told her absolutely not!” Watch Melania here:
