Acting legend Al Pacino just shocked the world by announcing that he is expecting his fourth child with his 29 year old girlfriend Noor Alfallah.
A spokesperson for Pacino confirmed that the star is expecting a child, when speaking to People. They report that Alfallah is eight months pregnant. Pacino, who has never been married, has three other children, one with Jan Tarrant and two with Beverly D’Angelo.
In an interview with the New Yorker, Pacino spoke about his role as a father, saying, “I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself.”
According to Fox News, Alfallah has dated rockstar Mick Jagger and billionaire Nicholas Berggruen.
This news comes just weeks after Robert De Niro shocked the world by announcing that he would soon be having another child at 79 years old. The mother of that child is Tiffany Chen, according to Kim Cattrall, who said, “God bless him. His significant other, Tiffany, is such a beautiful woman. She came to the set once with her family and watched filming, and she was gorgeous and sweet. And I’m happy for both of them.”
Some Twitter users found hope and inspiration in the news that Pacino would soon be having a newborn, with one such user reacting to the news, saying, “I personally think that’s good. I thought I was too old to have kids, at least he shows me it’s never too late.”
Another user commented on a possible call back to his role in Scarface, posting, “You KNOW he’s going to introduce the child to others with “Say hello to my little friend.”

As for Al Pacino’s past relationship with Beverly D’Angelo, she seems to be happy with the way that it ended after she gushed about the actor in a recent social media post, writing, “My story with Al began 27 years ago, two artists meeting, falling in love. We lived together for seven years, had two children, broke up, but continued steadily on our journey as co parents – and came to share our lives with a deeper kind of intimacy, honesty and acceptance than a ‘traditional’ relationship would have allowed, (for us at least).”
D’Angelo left her marriage with Italian duke Lorenzo Salviati to be with Pacino, after falling in love with him and deciding to have children. After the break up, she said that, “The greatest gift that Al ever gave me was to make me a mother.”
Al Pacino has also managed to remain relevant in modern film, starring in movies such as The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Jack and Jill. While time may be running short for The Godfather star to continue to headline massive Box Office successes, it seems that he is still young enough at heart to live like the young man that he once was.
