FBI Director Kash Patel recently labeled Sen. Adam Schiff as the the “worst criminal” in Congressional history when speaking about his role in pushing the impeachment of President Donald Trump during his first term in office.  Schiff has been lambasted by Republicans for allegedly fabricating aspects of Trump’s phone call with Ukraine and pushing the Russia collusion hoax.

Schiff infamously lead the prosecution against the president in his first impeachment trial, in which he was charged by the House of Representatives with him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Now that Trump is back in power there have been calls to investigate Schiff to determine any wrongdoing.

During a recent interview, Patel said, “Adam Schiff is the worst criminals in Congress in the last 250 years. Adam Schiff went to the podium day after day after day saying, I know nothing about this. We’re not going to discuss it. We’re going to protect it. And then he, Adam Schiff, led the prosecution of the impeachment trial in the Senate of President Donald Trump.”

He furhter claimed Schiff had a conflict of interest with whistleblower Eric Ciarmella and that he made up accusations against Trump. “Talk about someone who was conflicted out of the game because he was part of the hoax that brought Ciarmella in, manufactured that false accusation, and then peddled it out to the world,” he stated. “You know, not surprising, he’s lied about almost everything in his life, but now he lied just to set up a presidential impeachment. That’s what I was talking about, these disinformation campaigns.”

Patel maintained that Schiff should be investigated for allegedly lying about the case to push Trump’s impeachment. “He should be investigated. Because he lied to the world about his interactions with Ciarmella who is a whistleblower and a can’t stress it enough that started a presidential impeachment,” he said.

Popular conservative commentator Texas Girl shared the clip on X, asking, “Not only should @AdamSchiff be investigated, many others should be as well. Who in Congress, do you think needs to be investigated?” Another person commented, “Adam Schiff may have been given a pre-emptive pardon, but that doesn’t stop there being an investigation being done on him and exposing him.”

Texas Girl added, “The pardon is limited in scope, covering only actions tied to the committee’s investigation, not unrelated past or future activities. He can still be investigated or prosecuted for illegal acts outside the J6 committee.”  Watch Patel’s commentary below:

Other user suppported sweeping investigations of America’s top politicians. Another person wrote, “Everyone that Biden pardon should be investigated, especially the Clintons, Pelosi, Schumer,Schiff, AOC, Jeffries, and Obama! Oh hell the list is too long to write. How about investigating Democrats and rhinos in the government, you can probably throw in a few Republicans as well!”  Various other comments echoed this sentiment, showing Americans are ready for accountability in the government.
