Speaking in a powerful, pro-Constitution video posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, July 14, former First Lady Melania Trump reminded viewers of the provisions of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, part of the Bill of Rights, and roasted the FBI over its raid of the Mar-a-Lago estate at which she and Trump live on August 8, 2022.
As a reminder, the Fourth Amendment provides, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
In the video, which first covered the Fourth Amendment, Melania spoke out about the raid on Mar-a-Lago and what it was like to have a mob of agents of the state suddenly in her home, rifling through her things in her room as she could do nothing about it and had to stand by watching such an, as she saw it, invasion of her privacy.
She said, commenting on that aspect of the raid and just how horrible it was to experience a sudden, horrific incident in which her personal price was “invaded by the government.” She said, “I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America, the FBI raided my home in Florida and searched through my personal belongings.”
Continuing, she noted that the same thing has happened to many other Americans now and the Mar-a-Lago raid stands as a warning to every single American about the importance of rights and standing for them. She said, “This is not just my story. It serves as a warning to all Americans, a reminder that our freedom and rights must be respected.”

Commenters on Melania’s post threw their support behind her and commented on how awful they saw the incident as being. For example, one commenter described the raid as a “travesty,” saying, “Normal people stand behind you Melania, what has happened is a travesty and should never happen again!”
Another commenter sounded off on the FBI and its raid of the home, saying, in part, when commenting on the situation, “First Lady Melania reminding us the unlawful search and seizure she and her husband and son’s home was subjected to, by alphabet heavies…” Similarly, another commenter wrote, “This Woman has been to hell and back. Her husband is under attack by the far left hateful media and yet here she is standing Strong not just for her and her family but for this Great Country. God Bless, Melania 🇺🇸”
Still another chimed in and thanked Melania for getting more vocal, writing, “It’s nice to see you being more vocal and getting more involved publicly. I know how much you do behind the scenes for your family. More of us stand with you and President Trump then you can imagine. Keep the Faith. God Bless!”
