Kiss co-founder and guitarist Paul Stanley recently posted a statement on Twitter, giving his thoughts on the current craze surrounding gender ideology. The rockstar slammed parents who were “normalizing and encouraging” gender identity in children calling it a “sad and dangerous fad”.
Stanley posted an image containing his message titled, “My Thoughts On What I’m Seeing.” It stated, “There is a BIG difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that confuses young children into questioning their sexual identification as though some sort of game and then parents in some cases allow it.”
Stanley continued, “There ARE individuals who as adults may decide reassignment is their needed choice but turning this into a game or parents normalizing it as some sort of natural alternative or believing that because a little boy likes to play dress up in his sister’s clothes or a girl in her brother’s, we should lead them steps further down a path that’s far from the innocence of what they are doing.
The musician concluded, “With many children who have no real sense of sexuality or sexual experiences caught up in the “fun” of using pronouns and saying what they identify as, some adults mistakenly confuse teaching acceptance with normalizing and encouraging a situation that has been a struggle for those truly affected and have turned it into a sad and dangerous fad.”

Stanley received many comments supporting his take on teaching gender ideology to young children. One user said, “Straight to the point. Children are so innocent!!” Another user weighed in, “Thanks Paul for posting this. We do love you even more! Leave our children alone you perverts!”
Responding to a woke user criticizing Stanley for his opinion, Sara Higdon said, “Because he says that adults can do what they want but there is no need to medicalize children? When we know 88% end up growing out of their Dysphoria by the age of 20. And Come on, even you don’t like the pronoun ritual. He’s right, accepting and promotion are two different things.”
Trey Isaac added in the comments section, “Stanley is right. Affirmation of body dysmorphia is a perverse ideology that destroys the bodies (and lives) of mostly gay and autistic kids. It’s done more harm than conversion therapy by orders of magnitude. Looking forward when the people pushing it get to meet their cellmates.”
Another user replied to Stanley’s post, “This is spot on and Paul as a music artist actually breaks from the pack to state what a lot of people like myself included agree with. A lot of musicians are ultra left and agreeable to some of these issues and just join the sea of sameness.”
A user named Courtneay praised Stanley’s take, “Thank you for using your voice, platform, & notoriety to speak with common sense on a subject that will no doubt have dangerous consequences on our innocent and impressionable youth. This is a reasonable statement and before anyone attacks these words I hope they take a few minutes to use logic & common sense instead of emotions & feelings so that they hopefully understand why the pushback from the majority of humans is vast. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.”
Despite many agreeing with Stanley, there were certainly woke Twitter users who condemned him for sharing his opinions. Nonetheless, the rockstar bravely spoke out against the woke mob with his fame and reputation at risk.
