Woke Singer Roasted as “Most Astroturfed Act in Country Music” after Going on Bizarre, Far-Left Rant in the Middle of a Concert

Notorious left-wing country superstar Kacey Musgraves had a bone to pick with legendary explorer Christopher Columbus, the man who discovered the Americas, referring to him as a “loser” and using expletives in a rant against him during a concert held in Dallas, Texas close to Columbus Day. While speaking with the crowd, Musgraves asked audience members if it was Columbus Day.

Folks fired back by saying it was Indigenous Peoples Day, a sentiment she wholly agreed with. “Obviously, f—- Columbus,” she went on to say. “Literally the lamest person to probably ever exist. Like, for real. What a loser.” Conservatives and educated historians referred to the statement as idiotic and cringe-worthy, showcasing a fundamental lack of understanding concerning the importance of Columbus and his discoveries.

The remark was made just before the explorer’s officially recognized holiday. President Donald Trump marked the celebration of Columbus with a proclamation showing him honor. When former President Joe Biden was in office, he recognized Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples Day. The president also shared a message in which he praised the Italian-American community, going on to assert that Columbus statues that were torn down in recent years are now back.

According to a report from The Washington Times, Trump spoke of the replica of Baltimore’s statue, which had been toppled by leftists, installed on the grounds at the White House as one such example. Not only was Musgraves busy slandering historical heroes, she also took time out of her show by allowing Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico to make an appearance at the concert.

The appearance came after Talarico was off the campaign trail for several weeks due to a bad case of the flu. Former South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem weighed in on the episode by commenting on X that she would gladly take country sensation Ella Langley “over Kacey Musgraves any day”  and shared support for Talarico’s GOP competitor, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Musgraves fired back at Noem, saying she didn’t have a dog in the fight since she’s not from Texas, but if she did have one, she’d have shot it. This is a reference to a controversy about Noem who admitted in a book she had to put a dog down and shot it. As you can probably imagine, folks on social media had strong opinions about Musgraves and her Columbus rant.

“I only ever heard Musgrave on public radio when I’m listening to the bluegrass and country program on Sundays. Not impressed, very boring voice tbh,” one user said on X. Another person shared they would be ditching the artist after finding out how hard left she was. “I was unaware. Deleting all my KM music now,” the individual wrote.

“She is a Hicklib prostitute – walking around in a cowboy hat while spouting off about abortion and casual sex,” one user said, absolutely not sparing Musgraves’ feelings even the slightest bit. Someone else pointed out, “They don’t even call it country music. They call it Americana because they don’t want to be associated with the people who created it in the first place.”
