Actor Alan Ritchson, most well-known for his role as Jack Reacher in the Amazon Prime series Reacher, recently went on a promotional tour of sorts by making appearances on several different podcasts to promote his film Motor City, where he went on a couple of different rants, one about the Epstein files and the other a bizarre criticism of President Donald Trump.
Both of these have led to the alienation of a huge portion of the show’s conservative audience, many of whom are now calling for the program, and Ritchson himself, to be boycotted. During a July 2026 appearance on Armchair Expert, fellow actor Dax Shepard’s podcast, Ritchson decided to discuss his political leanings by going off on a rant against Trump, though he never actually mentioned the president by name.
“Look at the politics we deal with. The White House is in ruins. A fucking UFC cage on the lawn and they just f***ing do it and nobody says anything and no consequences. This f***ing guy is just raping the world that he lives in for whatever gain he personally can have,” the actor told Shepard. With the reference to the UFC fight card that took place on the White House lawn, it’s clear Ritchson was talking about President Trump.
The actor then appeared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast and took a leap off the deep end by raving about the Epstein files and accusing the president of being a rapist. “The f***ing Epstein files! God d**n it! Where are they? It’s a f***ing law, b***h. Show it, you f***ing pedophiles,” Ritchson told podcast host Josh Horowitz.
“This is my f***ing politics, dude: I would f***ing railroad these f***ers. I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. F***ing move out of the way. Like, get out of there. I don’t care what room they’re in. B***h, move. Give me the f***ing manila envelope. I will get you the Epstein files. Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable? These f***ing rapists! We’re just cool with it?” Ritchson continued.
He then dropped the comments about the president, though, again, he did so without having the guts to actually name him, as doing so could have resulted in a lawsuit. “That b***h has the keys to the nuclear. He’s, like, all up into 13-year-olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail. Go to jail.” Both rants have left a sour taste in many of the actor’s fans, who are now prepared to boycott his projects.
“As a former Reacher fan, did it occur to Ritchson that his audience surely leaned conservative? The pitiful opening sales for Motor City should be a clue. The damage is done, will it affect the new season of Reacher? I can confirm 1 less viewer, he ruined the entertainment value,” the Truth Monger account on social media platform X said.

Someone else wrote, “I’m sorry, why won’t douchebags like Ritchson get outraged over the massive fraud waste and abuse facilitated by Democrats? Where is his outrage over the thousands of American citizens being robbed, raped and murdered by illegals, allowed into our country by Democrats? Why is he not outraged about Anthony Fauci and Democrats killing Millions with a man-made virus, then stealing elections and adding trillions of dollars to our deficit, putting America on a trajectory of ruin?”
“These fake tough guys are nothing but simps and cucks for leftism. They are the worst of humanity. F**k Alan Ritchson,” the user concluded. “Low IQ that stunts his ability to understand all this administration is doing for the American citizens, and it’s a terminal condition. Bless his heart,” another user commented on the video clip of Ritchson’s interview.
