For centuries, radical Islamists have persecuted believers in Jesus Christ, attempting to force them to convert to Islam by torture, treating them as second-class citizens, extorting them out of money, or by beheading them if they refuse to abandon their Lord and Savior. And it seems that practice is still alive and well, not only in third-world countries around the globe, but in the United States too.
A video clip is going viral on Facebook featuring a man by the name of Jake Lang who tells the story of how a group of angry radical Muslims assaulted a minister in Illinois, actually throwing stones at his head like something ripped from the pages of the Old Testament. His security team, which Lang is seemingly a part of, whisked Minister Sylvester Vander away from the scene and to a local hospital.
Lang starts the video by saying, “Guys are literally stoning Christians for proclaiming Jesus. That’s Minister Sy. How old are you, Minister?” He then tells someone to show the rock that hit Vander, saying, “Look at the rock.” He then asks Vander a second time how old he is, to which he replies that he is 70 years old.
“He was out there preaching the name of Jesus, saying that ICE needs to deport. Look at the size of the rock. The rocks they were throwing. This is assault with a deadly weapon, and the police department was standing there. We’re heading to the hospital right now to get Sy. He’s probably gonna have like six, seven stitches in his head,” Lang continued.
Lang went on to heap praise on Vander for his bold proclamation of the gospel and for standing up for true American values. “What an absolute patriot! This is what happens in America. You go into these majority Muslim areas. You preach the name of Jesus. You talk about deportation. They literally try to kill you. It’s insane. We cannot allow this to happen. A house divided cannot stand. We got to get our country back,” Lang concluded.
Folks immediately took to the comment section to weigh in on what happened to Vander. One person, clearly mocking the left and their response to acts of violence that befall conservatives and Christians, commented, “I’ll reserve judgment until I hear the rock’s side of the story.” Another person pointed out that only those who are “non-civilized” think it’s okay to kill those who disagree with you.
“Regardless of what Jake Lang did, it did happen. Because what Jake did was legal and his attempted murder was not. Civilized persons know rocks can kill. Non-Civilized Savages think it is their right to kill anyone who offends them,” the user went on to write. Unfortunately, a ton of leftists also crawled out from the dark to comment on the post as well.

“You keep provoking people, then act surprised when someone reacts aggressively. Nobody has the right to assault you, but freedom of speech doesn’t guarantee your safety. Use some judgment and stop escalating confrontations. It’s sad watching the same scene repeat—the lack of common sense is almost comical,” a liberal user wrote. “What was he wearing to make the rock attack him?” another mocked.
