Democrat Staffer Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe Caught With His Pants Down–Literally, and Gets Arrested and Charged

A political canvasser with connections to Pennsylvania Democrat Janelle Stelson’s campaign to try and unseat GOP Rep. Scott Perry, was literally busted by the police with his pants down in a Mechanicsburg neighborhood chock full of children, dog-walkers, and a public park, according to information contained in court records.

East Pennsboro Police stated that they were dispatched a little after 3 p.m. on September 27, 2026, to Delwood Drive close to the Acri Road intersection after an unknown man was spotted sitting in his car for several hours. When local law enforcement officers finally made contact, 25-year-old Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, hailing from Aurora, Colorado, opened the door of his Ford SUV.

Officers say he was only wearing a shirt and his genitals were fully exposed. He then told the officers that he was waiting to go hand out flyers for Stelson’s campaign and then pointed to all the literature he had in the vehicle. The same court records noted that Igbojekwe was confused about why it was a problem for him to have his genitals exposed while sitting in a parked vehicle in a residential neighborhood.

According to a report from The Gateway Pundit, police pointed out that residents were already in the area, including a man walking his dog and a few kids riding around the neighborhood on bicycles. Igbojekwe had parked his SUV close to a local park and next to a sidewalk. Igbojekwe was arrested and then charged with indecent exposure, which is a second-degree misdemeanor and a summary count of disorderly conduct.

Magisterial District Judge Jonathan R. Birbeck set the man’s bail at $49,000. He was then detained at Cumberland County Prison after he could not post bail. Then something strange occurred. The charge suddenly disappeared. An update on the case posted by WHP 580 at 9 p.m. on September 30 says that court records showed the indecent-exposure charge and summary disorderly conduct were withdrawn.

Igbojekwe had pleaded guilty to a third-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. Republican activist Scott Presler, the man who helped President Donald Trump defeat former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election by tirelessly registering new conservatives to vote, took to social media platform X, where he blasted the whole situation.

In his post, Presler asked why a Stelson canvasser listed as being from Aurora, Colorado, was in Pennsylvania, warning voters in Cumberland, Dauphin, and York counties not to ignore the situation as Democrats continue to bring in outside help to try and sway as many elections as possible away from the GOP this November.

Stelson, who previously worked as a news anchor for WGAL, is currently in a rematch against Scott Perry in Pennsylvania’s 10 District. Stelson lost the first battle by 5,133 votes in 2024. Thus far, Stelson has spent most of her time in September trying to sell herself as being the moderate, middle-of-the-road candidate in the race, creating the “Republicans for Janelle” coalition that includes a number of former GOP politicians including Reps. Adam Kinzinger and Barbara Comstock.
