A college lecturer from the liberal cesspool of California is “no longer in the classroom” following a video showing her ordering a student out of class during a heated debate over his question concerning the rate of alcoholism among Native Americans, going viral on social media. The news of the lecturer’s departure was revealed in a comment posted by the university on TikTok on September 18.
The incident occurred at California State University San Marcos, but quickly became an internet sensation after clips of the argument made their way onto TikTok showing the lecturer telling the student over and over again to leave the classroom. Many believe the purpose of college is to teach young people how to think, but leftists try to teach the youth what to think, silencing all other opinions and their expression.
The whole back-and-forth kicked off after a student asked the lecturer about statistics concerning the rate of alcoholism among Native Americans. The lecturer, who was later identified by conservative-leaning publication The College Fix, as Persephone Lewis, tells the student in the video to “Get the f–k out of my class.”
According to a report published by Fox News, the video was published to TikTok on September 17. When others taking the class asked her why she kicked the student out of class, Lewis became highly emotional. “So get up and get the f— out of my class right now,” the lecturer went on to say in one clip. In another, she told the student, “You did this s— on purpose, you are out of my class. I am dropping you.”
The lecturer spoke with The College Fix, claiming that the now viral clip was “heavily edited” and did not provide viewers with the full context of the exchange she and the student had. Cal State San Marcos later confirmed that the lecturer is “no longer in the classroom.” The university later responded to the incident on TikTok.
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are looking into this. CSUSM is focused on maintaining respectful learning environments that support inquiry and meaningful discussion, including difficult and sensitive subjects. CSUSM is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where all members of our community can learn, grow and thrive,” the statement said. They also released a statement to Fox.
“Cal State San Marcos is aware of the situation involving a lecturer and a student in a classroom. We continue to review the circumstances and context surrounding the incident,” Cal State University San Marcos said. “”The lecturer is no longer in the classroom. CSUSM works to maintain respectful learning environments that support inquiry and meaningful discussion.”

“CSUSM is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where all members of our community can learn, grow, and thrive,” the school stated, quoting its earlier statement posted on TikTok. Lewis was herself a Native American and described on the UC San Diego website as “a citizen of the Yomba Shoshone Tribe, located in the mountains of present-day Nevada.”
Her biography then claimed that she is “deeply committed to Indigenous activism, tribal sovereignty, and Nation-building, she is a community-based consultant, educator, relative, and Newe language learner. Over the past 20 years, she has held a number of leadership positions in higher education, Native American education programs, social and behavioral health services and community development efforts.”
