JUST IN: Fox News Cuts Ties With Beloved Host after 12 Years, Effective Immediately

In a real eyebrow-raiser of a situation out of Fox News, which is already at odds with President Donald Trump over the alleged “RINOs” that it employes, the network announced that it has cut ties with longtime host and known Trump favorite Maria Bartiromo, unceremoniously giving her the boot after 12 long years, effective immediately.

It is not immediately clear what the reason for Bartiromo being unceremoniously ousted from the network is. “Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media,” the company said of the longtime Fox Business host who is beloved by her fans, particularly those in the MAGA camp who tend to find her programs generally refreshingly free of unfair criticism of the president.

Continuing, the network added, not giving anything of note away as it did so, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.” For reference, Bartiromo appeared last on Fox Business Network on August 7, and her last appearance on Fox News came on August 9.

People magazine, reporting on the situation, noted that the change to programming will occur starting this Friday, September 4. According to it, the Mornings with Maria program will transition into Mornings with FOX Business, and the network will fill the gap left by her by bringing on a new slate of rotating anchors. Additionally, it reported, “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street will be renamed FBN’s Wall Street and Cheryl Casone will host during its return with rotating anchors thereafter.”

That’s not all. People also reported that Fox News Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures will survive, but will get a new host. While the network searches for a permanent host to replace Bartiromo on it, the show will be hosted by Jason Chaffetz in an interim capacity. He will be starting on Sunday, September 6.

Conservatives online took the opportunity to praise Bartiromo. Nick Sortor, for example, said, “🚨 JUST IN: Anchor Maria Bartiromo is OUT at Fox News after over 12 years Bartiromo has notably been pushing HARD for the SAVE America Act, SHUTTING DOWN Democrats’ arguments that women are too dumb to get their birth certificates. Thanks for everything, @MariaBartiromo! And I know this isn’t the end for you!”

President Trump, for his part, had not commented on the situation at the time this article was written. A month prior, he praised Bartiromo for her interview of the CEO of Chevron, saying, in a post on Truth Social, “Mike Wirth, Chairman and CEO of Chevron, just gave, in an interview with the fabulous Maria Bartiromo, all of the reasons that his company is doing so well. The only thing he conveniently forgot to mention is that, without the genius, foresight, strength, and stability, of the TRUMP Administration, the Oil Industry, and our Country itself, would be DEAD!”

He added, “As an example, they threw Mike and Chevron out of Venezuela, but now they’re back, far bigger and stronger than ever before, expecting to make a fortune! That goes for other Oil Companies as well…and get your consumer (retail!) Oil Prices DOWN, NOW! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT”
