Democratic Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed sat down for an interview with popular Fox News host Jesse Watters and at one point during the conversation, things got a little awkward. El-Sayed took things in a completely inappropriate direction when he point-blank asked Watters if he was circumcised, which was just a bit too far over the line for the Fox host.
El-Sayed asked Watters the question as they debated whether trans-identifying children should be allowed to undergo sex change procedures during a fiery segment of “Jesse Watters Primetime.” Watters asked the Michigan Democrat “You think it’s okay for a parent to slash their kid’s ding-a-ling off? You think that’s okay?”
“I mean, do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised?” El-Sayed fired back at Watters. “Yeah, yeah, but I mean, that’s a personal question, doctor! Circumcision is different than castration,” Watters accurately pointed out. El-Sayed then attempted to make the case that conservatives tend to be “selective” about what decisions can be made between doctors, parents, and children, using circumcision as an example.
According to information shared in a report by The Daily Caller, circumcision is the complete removal of the foreskin located on the penis, while castration goes the distance and includes the removal of the testicles, making them completely different medical procedures. Statistics and personal testimonies indicate the vast majority of trans-identifying individuals ultimately regret having these extreme surgeries.
Chloe Cole, a de-transitioner, stated that doctors allowed her to suffer permanent damage while she was suffering from mental health problems as a minor. El-Sayed managed to pull off a slim victory over Democratic Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens during the Democratic Senate primary race after he received endorsements from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-NY).
Stevens was in tight with the Democratic Party establishment, receiving endorsements from Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Sen. Gary Peters, South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. El-Sayed’s campaign platform was a radical leftist’s dream.
Much of his campaign focused on support for a Medicare for All policy, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement, codifying abortion into law, and allowing “gender-affirming care.” El-Sayed has repeatedly stated that sex change operations and other procedures for minors should not be controlled by the government.

Despite his leftist ideals and policy positions clearly lining up with those connected to the Democratic Socialists of America, El-Sayed claims he is not a socialist. He claims to be a “capitalist” who wants to regulate monopolies and oligopolies. A number of candidates from the Democratic Socialists of America have managed to win primary races against incumbents in races all across the country, which many conservatives believe raises the stakes for the midterms in November. The DSA has expressed a desire to abolish the Supreme Court, the Senate, and even the office of the president as part of their revised platform.
