Independent journalist and YouTuber Nick Shirley, the man who blew the lid off the rampant daycare fraud in the state of Minnesota, recently went toe-to-toe with California State Assembly Chief of Staff Terry Schanz in an interaction on the street and while being heckled by him with vulgar insults, managed to still roast Schanz.
A video clip of the incident is going viral on social media platform X starts off with Shirley asking another man about a bill created by Mia Bonta, when Schanz crashes the interview and makes a complete fool of himself. “Mia Bonta, do you think her creating a bill that would make it basically illegal, give someone a $4,000 fine for looking into immigration support service providers?” Shirley asks.
Enter Schanz, who, like an overgrown 12-year-old, says, “Did you guys hear that Nick Shirley has a small penis allegedly?” Shirley somehow keeps his cool and responds, “Wow, that’s so adult of you.” Schanz, believing his shenanigans are somehow appropriate, but in reality are cringe, continues, “Did you hear about this? Nick Shirley has a small penis.”
“Well, I don’t know. This is what they are reporting. Have you seen this?” Shirley pops back, “Well, the reports are wrong.” Schanz tries to continue his vile bit, saying, “Well, we don’t know. Prove me wrong.” Shirley still maintains his class and dignity, responding, “No. I’m not, I don’t do that.” Schanz, continuing to make himself look like a middle-schooler, once again asks for Shirley to prove him wrong.
“Prove me wrong. It was enough for Charlie Kirk,” the vile man says, disrespecting the founder of Turning Point USA, who was assassinated in September 2025. “You don’t want to do that,” Shirley says, adding, “Well, I know you consent,” the chief of staff retorts. “I mean, we are in California,” the YouTuber responds, “They do support pedophiles.”
“Um, I think you’re over 18. So there are news reports happening that Nick Shirley has a small penis. Do you have any comment on Nick Shirley? I think allegedly, allegedly, alleged small penis. It’s risky for him to be out here. He could be banned or criminalized. You know, I don’t think this having a small penis is that a crime? Are you going to introduce that legislation to somebody member?” Schanz continues.
And then Shirley hits him with a verbal hook punch to the chin. “To look at your penis you’d have to lift up your fat to even look at it. You should work on that before you allege somebody else about their own penis,” Shirley says, completely frying Schanz. For some reason, despite clearly being defeated, the chief of staff keeps on going.

“Hey gentlemen, have you guys heard these public reports? Nick Shirley allegedly has a small penis. There’s an investigation going on. If you like, there you go. Thank you so much,” he says. “I’m doing just fine. To see yours, you have to literally lift up a flab of fat,” Shirley fires back. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Nick,” Schanz says.
“I mean, I don’t have this. There aren’t people reporting on me having a small d**k. Like, I don’t have any reports,” Schanz says, to which Shirley replies, “I don’t think anyone would ever make a report on you period.” Later in the video, the two get into a physical tussle as Shirley snatches flyers that Schanz made featuring his running gag.
He then goads Schanz to try and take them back, playing a game of keep-away with him, frying him again by saying, “I’m trying to get you to work out so people can actually see your penis.” At the end of the video, Shirley turns the tables and heckles Schanz as he gets into a Tesla, a vehicle made by trillionaire Elon Musk’s company, who leftists claim they hate.
