“Living In Fandasyland”: Kamala Harris Gets Wrecked by Former DNC Fundraiser Over 2028 Presidential Aspirations [WATCH]

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser Lindy Li recently sat down for an interview on Fox News program My View with Lara Trump, where she stated that major donors are highly unlikely to throw cash at former Vice President Kamala Harris should she decide to run a second campaign for the White House in 2028.

Li made the case that the Democratic Party is struggling with massive internal divisions, fundraising problems, and a weak field of candidates for the next presidential election. Li slammed the party’s post-election accountability and stated that donor frustration is adding to the issues Democrats are facing in the area of fundraising.

“There’s been no accountability. The autopsy that they sent out was basically a sham, and they couldn’t even stand behind it. They didn’t even mention the fact that Kamala Harris is a terrible candidate,” she told Trump during the interview. “Kamala Harris is living in fantasy land. To think that big donors would bet on her again-she’s crazy. She should go enjoy her-I don’t know what is it-$8 million mansion on Malibu, despite the fact that she belongs to the party of climate change.”

“She’s literally living on the ocean. She should just go away because the American people do not want her agenda. They don’t want the cackle hyena laugh either,” Li said, completely skewering the failed Democratic presidential nominee. She then pointed out that almost $2.5 billion was spent on the last Harris campaign and the pro-Harris Future Forward super PAC.

According to a report from Fox News, federal filings have revealed that Harris’ principal campaign committee, by itself, reported almost $1.18 billion in disbursements during the 2023-24 election cycle. Li argued that the problems Democrats are facing with fundraising are connected to dissatisfaction with the overall party’s mad dash to the left, ripping into Democrats for embracing socialist policies.

“This is why donors like me left the party in droves. And this is why they are so… broke. They literally had to put up their own headquarters… as collateral. They can’t even get a text back from donors. So I don’t want to hear anything about a big tent. You should not be normalizing socialism like this,” she explained to Trump.

Li also took time to shred Democratic Party leaders for giving into the pressure being applied to them by the radical leftist elements within the party, stating that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) only referred to it as a “big tent party” because he knows that if he doesn’t Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) would likely run for his seat and primary him.

“He’s trying to race her to the bottom. It’s just ridiculous,” she said. “And Americans already rejected it in 2024,” Li said. Show host Lara Trump posted the interview on her X account, which Li then responded to, writing, “Lara, as you know I’ve been on the receiving end of an avalanche of hatred and venom in recent days, when my only aim is to help President Trump and the GOP for free from now until forever.”

“Your kindness absolutely brightened my world. My respect and love for you are boundless,” she concluded. Someone else replied to Li’s post, saying, “Lindy, hang tough. Just remember for every one hater there are many, many more that appreciate the work you’re doing. Peace will find you and you will find peace.”
