Alan Ritchson, the main star of Amazon’s hit television series, Reacher, is facing massive backlash from MAGA conservatives across the country after the horrific comments he made about President Donald Trump, which included an accusation that Trump is a r*pist and abused 13-year-olds. Many took to social media platform X to call for a boycott of Ritchson, who along with a new season of Reacher hitting Amazon Prime in August, has a new film called Motor City in theaters.
“Don’t watch this guy, boycott every show or movie he’s in,” user Dolly wrote in a post sharing a story about Ritchson’s comments. Another person responded, “I couldn’t agree more. His Jack Reacher on Prime was pretty good but no more. You watch a conservative show like that and you unintentionally ascribe the character’s views to the actor. No more. No MAGA should ever watch any show of his again.”
“Oh don’t worry. He’s kinda made a name for himself by being such an idiot. I watched the first season of Reacher but I still had no idea of what his name was, nor did I care. And now that I know, I will purposely avoid anything he’s in,” someone else said. “Was looking forward to a new season of Reacher. Will not be watching it. Nor will we spend any money on the two new movies he has coming out. Extremely disappointing,” another individual said.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Ritchson had a total meltdown over Trump and the Epstein files while doing press for his new film, making an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable?” Ritchson asked Josh Horowitz, the show’s host.
“These f***ing r*pists. We’re just cool with it. That b***h has the keys to the nuclear codes. He’s like all up into 13-year-olds. Like dude, what? Go to jail,” the War Machine actor said. The White House responded to Ritchson’s comments in a statement by spokesperson Abigail Jackson. “Just as President Trump has said, he’s been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein.”
“And by releasing thousands of pages of documents, cooperating with the House Oversight Committee’s subpoena request, signing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and calling for more investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends, President Trump has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him,” Jackson’s statement continued.
“Meanwhile, Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries and Stacey Plaskett have yet to explain why they were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender,” the statement added. Another MAGA supporter commented about Ritchson saying, “Yeah I’m done watching his content. It will be interesting to see how much viewership declines for Reacher.”

Earlier in the interview, Ritchson spoke about the Epstein files, saying, “This is my f***ing politics, dude. I would f***ing railroad these f***ers I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. Yeah, dude, two seconds. F***ing move out of the way. Get out of there. I don’t care what room they’re in, f***ing move. Like, give me the f***ing manila envelope. I will get you the Epstein files.”
