Fox News host Jessica Tarlov, a Democrat, was scorched during an episode of the network’s popular program, “The Five,” by her conservative co-hosts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld, who wanted to know why she and other left-wingers like her have such a big problem with folks supporting President Donald Trump. The whole conversation kicked off after Gutfeld asked a simple question.
“I’m okay with you hating Trump, why aren’t you okay with me liking him? If you could just look in the mirror and answer that question, liberals, you would feel so much better,” the late-night talk show host said. Watters then took that question and asked Tarlov if she had any idea why liberals care so much about other people liking Trump.
“Because he’s like a completely morally bankrupt person that’s imposing all of these…” Tarlov started to respond before being interrupted by Gutfeld, who shouted, “But why should you care that I like him? Why should you care?” The network’s token liberal responded, “I have accepted that you like him. But I think it’s hard for people when they care about someone to say…”
Gutfeld cut in a second time, saying, “Whoa, woah, woah. This is the perfect thing. Why do they care? Tell me why?” Tarlov then tried to say that those who like Trump will vote for him and his agenda, including anyone who holds to that agenda, which “leads to bad policies…that makes life harder for…” Watters jumped back in and redirected the conversation to when Tarlov said Trump was “morally bankrupt,” saying, “She is misdiagnosing. It has nothing to do with morality.”
According to a report from TV Insider, Tarlov then responded, “Of course it does.” Watters then explained that Democrats “don’t support standards of morality, going on to add, “You can do drugs. You can be homeless. You can hit people, rape people, let other murderers into the country. You can do all kinds of things. They don’t judge. They don’t judge!”
“You guys got evangelicals to support a guy who has cheated on every single wife he has had,” Tarlov stated. “But who cares if I like him?” Gutfeld replied again. I’ve said I don’t care. I’ve accepted it,” she continued. The whole exchange was shared on social media platform X, and resulted in many conservatives commenting on the clip, demanding that Fox News fire the liberal co-host from the network.

X commenter Melissa Powell wrote, “Read the room, Fox. Nobody finds Jessica Tarlov entertaining. She is a cut and paste bot. While some love watching Jesse and Greg go after her, most of us can’t tolerate the Lunatic. You are destroying this show, period. Tarlov is grotesque.” Another Melissa commented, “You know what’s morally bankrupt? Killing babies in the womb, which Jessica’s party celebrates.”
“I remember when Clinton got busted for cheating with Monica Lewinsky and the left’s position was that it’s between he and Hillary and we should stay out of their personal issues. But Jessica is upset and says Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had. It’s the hypocrisy from the left that is impossible to stomach. What an absolute wretched party,” someone else stated on X.
User Dick Werner posted a meme of Jessica Tarlov with “Fire Jessica Tarlov” on it that included a caption that read, “I missed it, because when she is on I change the channel.” Ed Palmateer wrote, “Please bring back Harold. You will gain back a hell of a lot of people if you do including me. I can not watch that show with her squeaky voice, I would rather hear nails go down a chalkboard. Fire her and also watch the show’s numbers go up again.”
