WATCH: Jessica Tarlov Gets Immediately Called Out for Total Lie about President Trump’s Big Event, Gets Completely Wrecked by Obvious Video Evidence

Fox News host Jessica Tarlov, the network’s token liberal who regularly appears as a co-host on the popular outlet’s “The Five,” attempted to deliver a big slam to President Donald Trump and conservatives by posting a video and photographs from the Great American Fair that took place over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, but ultimately her efforts backfired. The event was created to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

“I’m out here at the State Fair, and well, it is as empty as everyone says. It’s also very hot!” Tarlov said in the video. She then took an opportunity to promote her new book that is due for release, saying, “Now is a great time to mention that my new book, I Disagree, is coming out soon, and it talks all about how to find common ground with folks who you may not agree with/who think it’s okay Donald Trump turned our 250th into his personal party.”

She also posted a picture of the nearly empty fairgrounds on her X account. However, Tarlov’s attempt to spin the narrative to get people to believe that Trump’s efforts to hold an event for the big celebration went sideways when conservative commentator Charles R. Downs posted footage from the fair later that same night. The place was packed with people.

“Oh wow, the elected Democrats’ favorite mainstream media figures, like Jessica Tarlov (@JessicaTarlov), are lying about the attendance on the National Mall again,” Downs said in the caption for the post. “In reality, during the night when it’s not 100 degrees and the events are happening, there are thousands of people on the National Mall enjoying the Great American Fair and the FIFA Fan Zone, which Trump helped create too.”

“It’s sick how the left lies about July 4th pro-American events. Clearly, Democrats hate America,” he added. In the video you can see hundreds, if not thousands of people enjoying the events and filling up the space set aside for the fair. According to The Mirror, tons of Trump supporters commented on Tarlov’s posts.

“Why would you be associating our independence with Donald Trump.??? There’s no common ground with communists. Jessica. Do better girl,” one user said. Another replied, “How to talk to people you disagree with by stating Trump made it his party.” Others correctly noted that the high heat, not disinterest in the celebration, was the reason the midday crowd was so thin.

Fox News interviewed some folks who attended the event, such as Blake Boggs, who came to D.C. from Grapevine, Texas with his family, who said the fair was “all for America.” Boggs went on to add, “It’s cool to be able to come out here and not just enjoy our nation’s history but each state, and so that’s great. Absolutely, I don’t think there’s anything really partisan about that. I mean, if anything, it should be unifying.”

Several Democratic-led states decided to skip the fair, citing budget constraints. After Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro opted not to attend, Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Dave McCormick (R-PA) put together a coalition of groups to provide staff for a state booth, a move that GOP visitors like Debbie Arrington and Maria Stevens said made them “proud.”
