Country music superstar Alan Jackson is at the end of his musical career, as health issues have forced him to retire from the stage. During his final concert, the country star, known for never getting political on the stage and instead just focusing on producing some of country music’s best tunes, played a clip from Taylor Swift that quickly turned into her getting booed.
As background, Taylor Swift has long feuded with President Trump, as she is one of those woke performers who has refused to just focus on performing for her fans and instead has attempted to be something of an anti-Trump, feminist icon at the same time as she has also become immensely wealthy from her singing career.
So, she has become greatly disliked by many country fans, who tend toward being more conservative, as could be seen when even her video was booed at the Alan Jackson farewell concert: though she used to be a country star, she no longer is, and now is indeed quite disliked by country fans.
In the surprise video message, Swift said that she always enjoyed Jackson’s “songwriting” and, “in your performances, and the ways that you give it so much to us, the fans.” She continued, sharing, “I think my favorite song of the series is Drive.”
Adding to that, she explained that it is her favorite “because in that song you really paint such a picture, and you let us into the details of your life, and I know that that was an example that was so good for me to see at a young age, an artist really just letting fans into the details of his life.”
Concluding the woke singer shared again her appreciation of Jackson, saying, “and I appreciate you so much for the ways that you have just treated me and other artists and writers with just such support and encouragement over the years, and I am so excited for you doing this show, and just appreciate you so much, love.”
Well, concert-goers were not excited about seeing Swift on the big screen and the entire video message was overshadowed and drowned out by massive booing as the fans of Alan Jackson voiced their displeasure at having to see the notoriously leftist singer on the screen.

Commenters on the video joked about the booing and Swift. “My family attended the concert. Yes, she got booed bad,” said one. “She ain’t being booed for ditching her country roots…she’s being booed for being an elitist libtard,” said another. “Taylor deserves a Swyft goodbye from every conservative, whether they like Country Music or not,” wrote another. “Good. Where was she for Toby Keith’s funeral. Dudes the one that made her. She isn’t welcome in country music anymore,” said still another.

Commenting on the end of his career and the Nashville concert in a statement to PEOPLE, Jackson said, “It’s been a long road… and it’s taken me places I never imagined.” He continued, “But I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville and include so many special friends.”
