President Donald Trump went absolutely nuclear on notoriously unreliable and backstabbing RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), accusing her of being against the SAVE America Act and generally being more like a Democrat than a Republican not out of principle, but because she suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Such came as President Trump spoke from the Oval Office on Monday, June 28 about the senator and others like her, arguing that there is no reason that she and others should such a policy as voter ID and proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, but aren’t because of how much they detest him. He lumped in Mitch McConnell and Thom Tillis with her.
“She is Trump Deranged, what can I tell you?” President Trump said, referring to the infamous “TDS” diagnosis that has long been used to characterize types like Murkowski who refuse to even consider, much less get on board with, his proposals and policies out of personal animus rather than any political principle.
Noting just how astounding it is that McConnell, Thune, and Murkowski would refuse to vote for a national voter ID bill, the president then said, ”Those four or five people that I mentioned, how do you vote against SAVE America? How do you vote against it? How do you vote against voter identification or proof of citizenship?”
He continued, noting just how important the general SAVE America Act is and why the Democrats are against it, “The only people that would vote against that are people that are going to cheat in an election. The Democrats need it because their policy is so bad. They want open borders and high taxes.”

Similarly, speaking a few days before at a Friday event, the President said, “And now we have to pass the SAVE America Act to protect our sacred Americans. Hard to believe, right? That we even have to fight for this. We have to fight for everything. Nothing comes easy — nothing. All voters must show voter I.D. Not so bad. All voters must provide proof of citizenship. Is that so hard?”
He continued, calling her out directly, “Democrats and a few Republicans who are doing a tremendous disservice to this country. We have a few Republicans that are fighting it. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. You should call her and tell her to get on the ball. She’ll never win another election, I can tell you. She has got to get, she’s got to vote. It’s called the SAVE America Act.”
Commenting on that, woke reporter Chuck Todd said, “The more Trump goes after Murkowski, the more likely the real number Dems will need to take control of the Senate is “3” not 4 — as she has hinted at before, she can decide to caucus with the other side if she chooses. And if a Dem (Peltola)wins the AK Senate seat, it would be on brand for her to say, “my state has indicated they want a Dem senate….”
