“Evil and Deranged” Red State Democrat Politician, AG Hopeful Posts Video Threatening to “Execute” President Trump

Elliot Forhan, a Democratic candidate for attorney general in the state of Ohio and a former state representative, posted a video earlier in 2026 in which he declared that he wanted to “kill” President Donald J. Trump by having him executed. Such came in a video that he released on social media, and caused an immediate negative reaction.

For reference, the post, which was made in late January of 2026, came as the AG candidate joined in general leftist fury over the operations of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol, particularly in blue cities like Minneapolis-St. Paul, where they faced much pushback and many attacks.

In any case, in the post, Forhan declared that if elected as AG, he would prosecute the president in such a way that capital punishment is brought down upon President Donald Trump for his supposed “crimes”, though Forhan didn’t bother articulating what crime, much less what capital crime, he thinks President Trump has committed.

Beginning the very inflammatory video in the most inflammatory way that could be imagined, the Democratic politician declared that what he wants to do is kill the President of the United States, who has faced repeated assassinations. He said, “I want to tell you what I mean when I say that I am going to kill Donald Trump.”

Continuing, Forhan then tried to dodge an investigation and charges by saying that what he wants to do is get Trump convicted of a capital crime. He said, “I mean I’m going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence presented at a trial conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process resulting in a sentence duly executed of capital punishment.” Concluding, he added, “That is what I mean when I say I am going to kill Donald Trump.”

Predictably, conservatives reacted quite strongly on X to the news. Tennessee Republican Robby Starbuck, for example, wrote, “People with TDS are a lot like drug addicts. The high of impeachment declarations and jail just don’t give them the same high anymore. Now we have Democrats running on killing the President. This guy belongs in an insane asylum.”

A commenter on Starbucks’s post added, “It appears to be on brand. Democrats literally backed a Virginia AG candidate who texted about murdering a political opponent and wishing death on the opponent’s kids. So there’s that.” Another commenter said, “@FBI please check this man he needs a wellness check and a psych evaluation.”

Also posting about the matter was the Libs of TikTok X account, which wrote, “Democrat candidate for Ohio AG who said he’s going to kiII President Trump also posted this when Charlie was ass*ssinated He’s an evil deranged psycho.” Accompanying that post was a picture of something that Forhan posted when Charlie Kirk was slain: he wrote, online, “F-ck Charlie Kirk”.

Commenters on that post said things like, “These people are evil and deranged” and “The guy needs to be committed. Removed from society.” Others said, “This is just where we’re at. This shouldn’t shock anyone” and “Democrats believe this is the winning strategy they’ve found…it worked in Virginia.”
