“What a Clown”: RINO Senator Skewered after Attacking Trump’s Anti-Weaponization Fund for Ordinary Americans Despite Passing Bill to Pay Senators for Facing Weaponization [WATCH]

In yet another infuriating video from the constantly treacherous RINO Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), Tillis went on the attack against President Trump’s anti-weaponization fund, which would provide compensation to patriots who have faced lawfare attacks at the hands of the Deep State, particularly during the Biden years.

Those comments from Tillis against the fund came despite the fact that he supported a very similar fund that would have provided United States Senators who faced targeting at the hands of the government with half a million dollars in restitution. Apparently, it is ok for the political elite to receive such compensation, but not for ordinary people to.

Such came up when the Senator spoke with Spectrum News about the fund, calling it “stupid on stilts” because he fears that it will be used to reimburse victims of Deep State lawfare who had their lives ruined during the federal government’s exceedingly harsh response to the January 6 electoral justice protest and Capitol trespassing incident.

Sen. Tillis, making that claim, said that the fund is “stupid on stits” “Because it will invariably put us in a position where your taxpayer dollars and my taxpayer dollars could potentially compensate someone who assaulted a police officer, admitted their guilt, got convicted, got pardoned, and now we’re going to pay them for that.”

Continuing, the senator insisted that it is “absurd” that victims of FBI, DOJ, and intelligence community lawfare will potentially receive some compensation for it, and that Americans must invariably reject such a concept. He said, “That’s absurd. The American people are going to reject this out of hand.”

He then, ridiculously, added that it is tyranny for taxpayers to have to pay for things with which they disagree, as if there isn’t much of the federal budget with which we all disagree. He said, “When you take money from me to give to a purpose that I vehemently disagree with, that’s tyranny, and that’s what that account [looks to be].”

One commenter, sounding off on Tillis and his ridiculous talking point, said, “‘When you take money from me to give to a purpose I vehemently disagree with, that’s tyranny.’ Cool, now do the 80% of the federal budget that goes to welfare, foreign aid, and interest payments on our welfare and foreign aid debt…”

But it was Sean Davis of The Federalist who really hit back at Tillis with a vengeance, noting his immense corruption and saying, “Tillis voted for a $500,000 per senator fund for senators who were illegally spied on by the Biden. It wasn’t available to any normal Americans whose rights had been violated—just senators. But now Tillis is mad that actual American citizens might receive restitution. What a clown.”

A commenter on Davis’s post said, “His apparent notion that several thousand CRIME VICTIMS of DOJ’s political/ideological lawfare shouldn’t be compensated in accordance with the Government’s duty to right its own wrongs is irrational and immoral. If he says that’s his position because a single Senator, who vehemently despises several dozen or several hundred J6ers, should be empowered to decide which crime victims get compensation based on that Senator’s opinion of the victims’ political beliefs, that’s indefensible and insane.”

Another argued, “Poor Thom. Let me cry crocodile tears about he and his colleagues having their cell phones monitored. Give me a giant break. Many of us have been through and continue to suffer in a purgatory he couldn’t possibly imagine. And no, it has nothing to do with J6. But like every other self important, venal, malicious swamp creature, he just doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself.”
