Beloved television star Jeremy Clarkson revealed during a recent episode of “Clarkson’s Farm” on Amazon that he has been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of cancer. The episode was released on June 17, 2026. The series was filmed in parts of 2024 and 2025, so his battle has been going on for some time now.

During the episode, Clarkson, 66, is seen informing his co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland of his diagnosis. The British TV star and “Top Gear” presenter did not reveal details about the type of cancer he had while having the conversation with his co-stars. “I disappeared off the other week, and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early,” Clarkson told Cooper and Ireland.

He then added that he had known about his health issues “since May,” though it’s still not known exactly when the official diagnosis was made. In the next episode, which was released alongside the one featuring his announcement, Clarkson spoke with Cooper in more detail and revealed, “The prostate, 10 percent of it is dead, the 10 percent where the cancer is,” Clarkson said.

Speaking with another co-star, Clarkson said, “I had the op, and just fingers crossed it’s worked, we don’t know yet.” The season then came to an end on a sort of cliffhanger with images of Clarkson in a hospital bed, recovering from treatment, according to a report from The Daily Caller. “We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end of season five, and I’m back in the hospital bed,” the television star said.

“Some of the treatment’s gone a bit awry, let’s say, so I’m going to be here for a little while. I’m nil by mouth, I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Clarkson opened up. Before he signed off, he told his fans and supporters, “But if this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t.” A dramatic end for a heavy episode and season.

Just several days before the episodes aired, Clarkson posted a video on his Instagram account informing fans that he usually tries to keep the show “cheerful” but cautioned the last two episodes are “a difficult watch.” This isn’t the first time that Clarkson has documented his health struggles for the program. His heart procedure was also a focal point of the program in October 2024.

According to a report from the BBC, Clarkson wrote in a column at the time that “of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way.” He then said that a stent was put in his heart, which is a tube that is inserted into a narrowed or blocked artery to open it and allow blood to flow more freely.

During the first episode, Clarkson attempted to comfort the two men who co-host his program, saying, “I promise I’ll be fine,” before adding that he would be out of action “for a little while.” Cooper then told Clarkson to “look after yourself” while Ireland added, “I wish you a very speedy recovery.” Former Conservative Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, along with TV host Piers Morgan, wished Clarkson well on social media.
