Hollywood Actress Tries to Paint Herself as the Victim after She Faces Backlash for Horrible Comments She Made about Charlie Kirk after His Death

Actress Amanda Seyfried is employing the use of a tactic radical leftists in the United States have almost transformed into an art, attempting to turn the tables to make herself appear like a victim following her harsh criticisms and comments about Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk following his assassination on a college campus in September 2025.

Seyfried is whining that she received such severe backlash after making her comments about Kirk that she had to hire a bodyguard. The Housemaid star recently sat down with GQ magazine for an interview, saying, “A, I’m allowed to f***ing voice my feelings, and B, do it in a way that’s not unkind necessarily.” The “unkind” criticism by the actress was referring to Kirk as “hateful” on her social media after his murder.

“But there’s just an outsized fear and hatred and impulse to bash and to tear down. And I experienced a very small fraction of that,” Seyfried said, seemingly oblivious to the irony in her statement. She later added, “I want my kids to be able to feel safe to voice their opinions as long as they’re not harmful. So I’m like, ‘What do I do? What do I say?’”

According to a report from Breitbart News, the Mean Girls actress then added, “And then all of a sudden I find myself with a f***ing bodyguard at the airport and I’m like, ‘This is crazy.’” On September 16, 2025, which was just six days after Kirk’s assassination, Seyfried more or less waved off the incident, dismissing Kirk’s stunning murder because “He was hateful.”

The post Seyfried commented on contained a plethora of quotes from Kirk that were completely removed from their proper contexts. Leftists had seized on Kirk’s words to smear him, falsely, as a “racist” and “hater.” After she received substantial backlash for her heartless dismissal of Kirk and his assassination, Seyfried refused to apologize, doubling down on her comment, saying, “I’m not f***ing apologizing for that.”

“I mean, for fuck’s sake, I commented on one thing,” the foul-mouthed actress cried. “What I said was pretty d**n factual, and I’m free to have an opinion, of course.” Seyfried’s interview with GQ reveals a much deeper issue among leftists, namely their indulgence in cognitive dissonance by refusing to acknowledge that it was someone from their own camp who carried out a heinous act of violence. Instead, they look for creative ways to spin the narrative to make themselves the true victims.

One user who commented on the Breitbart story called Seyfried out for her comments, referring to her as a narcissist. “Narcissist much? It’s all about her, poor thing. I can’t be hateful in my speech because I am awesome…..idiot.” Someone else called out the obvious hypocrisy in left-wing Hollywood, writing, “It is evidently okay to wish a conservative dead but not okay to wish ill on a Democrat ‘celebrity.'”

Someone else skewered the actress, writing, “Hag wants her children to be safe, but it’s okay that Charlie Kirk got killed by one of her leftist friends.” Another individual went on to comment, “Charlie Kirk attacked! Attacker most affected. When women finally exhaust their victim card, and understand equality, it’s going to be hilarious.”
