WATCH: Democratic Senator Loses It, Absurdly Accuses ICE of Corruption

Seemingly doing his best to add as much fuel to the anti-ICE fire as possible as riots rage in New Jersey, outside the Delaney Hall Detention Center, far-left Democratic United States Senator from New Jersey Cory Booker insisted that the detention center is awful and that Trump’s immigration crackdown is characterized by corruption. He offered no proof for these claims.

What appeared to get Sen. Booker so mad, both online and when he discussed the matter on CNN with far-left host Jake Tapper, is that the Delaney Hall detention center is operated by a private entity rather than directly by ICE, and that it is strict about dealing with the migrants it has detained.

For example, raging about that in a ridiculous post on X, Booker said, “At Delaney Hall I met with a woman who was taken from her newborn baby, an American, who was not getting the proper medical care she needed. This for-profit facility and Trump’s cruelty is a moral stain on our community and nation.”

He said much the same thing when speaking to Tapper about it on CNN. That came after host Jake Tapper introduced it, saying, “Senator, you went inside the facility yesterday. You said it is a moral stain in our nation. What did you see? What did the detainees tell you?”

Booker began by angrily berating a company for being involved in assisting ICE with immigration enforcement operations, saying, “Well, remember this is being run by a private corporation that showered Republicans with cash. Have a $1 billion operation. So it is a private, for-profit prison now profiting off of people’s pain.”

Continuing, he kept whining about the level of medical care the detained invaders are receiving, as if their complaints are reflective of the absolute reality. He said, “Inside, the conditions were insufficient and unacceptable. From lots of complaints about medical conditions, not getting the proper treatment from women, not getting the proper gynecological care when they were in severe crisis.”

Still not done, he then whined that they are complaining about the food, as if the fact that a prison isn’t feeding detainees first-class grub is the height of all sins. He said, And obviously, we’re hearing complaints about the food and more.”

Keeping up his angry rant, Booker then declared that illegal aliens have not committed any crimes, which is facially false, given that they are in the United States illegally. He began that part of his rant by saying, “Remember, these people are New Jersey’s neighbors. There are people in there that I talked to that have been in our country not years but decades, who have American children and grandchildren who have committed no crimes. A majority of the people there have committed no crimes.”

Concluding, he then attacked ICE’s operation as being a “moral abomination, saying, “And so this is a problem and a moral abomination on multiple levels. I now see again, this is a president with a chaotic, cruel and corrupt, immigration enforcement. And we’re seeing the epicenter now moving to Newark, New Jersey.”
