Fox News Gets Roasted for Pushing RINO Talking Points as It Desperately Attacks MAGA Candidate to Defend RINO’s Legacy

Fox News is once again coming under heavy fire from conservatives due to their support for incumbent Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) in an important Senate race that has garnered national attention, as many conservatives and MAGA supporters believe Cornyn is a Republican In Name Only. Cornyn himself has contributed greatly to this perception as he has supported amnesty for illegal aliens and voted in favor of gun control legislation that limits the Second Amendment.

During an episode of Fox News host Bret Baier’s “Special Report” program, political analyst Brit Hume, who is also considered to be a RINO and supporter of the GOP establishment, which has proven to be an enemy of President Donald Trump’s America First agenda, expressed to a panel of guests that he didn’t believe electing the Trump-endorsed Attorney General Ken Paxton in the primary was a good idea.

Hume stated that he believes that Paxton comes with a lot of baggage and controversy that could short-circuit his chances against Democratic nominee James Talarico in the general election, leading to the loss of a seat that Republicans have held in the Senate for a long time. “It’s not clear to me why [Trump] chose Paxton anyway. John Cornyn has been a pretty solid supporter of Donald Trump over the years. And this is a seat that Republicans have held for a very long time. It would be unusual for them to lose it,” Hume said.

Hume went on to add, “But if you nominate Ken Paxton, who is a controversial figure, to say the least — and has some legal problems in his background — it could put that seat in play in the fall. And that would be a bad outcome for the Republicans.” The political analyst said that Talarico also comes with significant baggage heading into the general election, however, Hume believes he’s a smoother talker than Paxton.

Users on social media were none too happy about Fox News supporting yet another RINO who, they believe, would prove to be a significant block in the passage of President Trump’s agenda. “It’s clear why Fox News is pissed about it…another RINO is going down,” user Thomas Fowler said. Ginger Cain wrote, “John Cornyn will not be an ally to Trump if reelected. He has done absolutely nothing for Texas. I campaigned for him and he totally did nothing he stated he was going to do.”

“Brit Hume just like John Cornyn, Karl Rove, Bill Cassidy and so many other RINOs time has passed. The base simply isn’t believing this BS anymore. We are examining their voting records, watching their video clips and seeing that what they say vs what they do. @FoxNews still gives these pathological liars a platform. Stop watching! They are literally lying to your face! Gaslighting the public daily,” a user said.

User Lloyd from Wyoming, asked, “But was Cornyn ever really a Republican? Shouldn’t we s**t can every RINO in a primary whenever possible, unless it means losing the general election?” Someone else said, “Cornyn has NOT been a Trump ally—and anyone that jacks with the 2nd Amendment is NOT a friend to the US Constitution.”
