Another National Fast Food Chain Faces Fire, Boycott Threats after Massive Donation to Radical Socialist Revealed

Another major restaurant chain is about to learn a hard lesson as conservatives across the country are calling for a boycott of McDonald’s after it was revealed the company donated $500,000 to California Democratic gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra. He’s also received massive donations from other major corporations such as Chevron, Meta, and Uber.

A MAGA supporter shared the news of Becerra receiving cash for his campaign from special interests on social media platform X, saying, “One more reason to never eat this garbage unhealthy junk food. I already wasn’t eating it but now, this sealed the deal. Any corporation DUMB enough to support Marxist Socialist candidates, isn’t any company I want to support. How dumb do you have to be to support socialist nonsense when you are a capitalist corporation?”

Others commented about the news and joined in the call for a boycott against McDonald’s and corporations boosting Democratic candidates pushing socialist policies. “Bye McDonald’s. Thank you for finally giving the last push I needed to never go back,” user Michael Hawk wrote. Another individual noted that a number of the company’s franchises in California are part of the Restaurant Meal Program and accept EBT/SNAP benefits.

“Let me guess. California participates in the Restaurant Meal Program (RMP) gravy train. Most McDonald’s locations in California accept EBT such as Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Sacramento, etc. EBT/SNAP functions as demand-side government transfer that boosts revenue for retailers like McDonald’s,” the person wrote. “@McDonald’s should stay out of politics. Their food is garbage anyway, and now they have decided to alienate their customer base. FAFO,” user BruceH said.

Georgia, a user on X, asked a provocative question about McDonald’s and their claims to care about families and children while supporting Becerra who lost over 350,000 kids. “McDonald’s, you say you care about children and families but then here you donate to Xavier the bastard that lost over 350,000 children. Children are not safe around that f***er he needs to be in prison instead of running for governor. He is a child trafficker.”

“@McDonalds Just wondering, are you planning to donate money to any more leftists’ election campaigns? Asking so I have even more reasons to boycott you!” Clayton responded on X. According to a report from the New York Post via Yahoo News, grieving parents in California put Becerra on blast not long after news broke that Meta, parent company of Facebook and Instagram, donated a million dollars to one of the PACs supporting his bid for the governorship.

The parents, who lost children due to social-media addiction, are calling Becerra a hypocrite, accusing him of giving lip service to protecting vulnerable children while also taking big checks from companies like Meta. “Why is he going to align himself with a company proven in a court of law to have hurt kids, profited off of it, and then lied about it?” Julianna Arnold, a leader of Parents RISE! — an organization that pushes for stricter regulation of social media and AI tools, went on to say.

Arnold, whose 17-year-old daughter passed away after meeting a man on Instagram who groomed her and gave her pills to relieve anxiety, called Becerra taking Meta donations “really disappointing.” Fellow Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer torched Mark Zuckerberg for his company’s donation to Becerra, writing on social media, “5 p.m. today: Meta gives $950K for @XavierBecerra. 4 a.m. tomorrow: Meta lays off 10% of workforce,” Steyer wrote on Tuesday. “… Mark Zuckerberg wants a friend in Sacramento. I won’t be.”
