Democrat Politician Horribly Mocks Tulsi Gabbard’s Husband’s Cancer Diagnosis

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently announced that she would be resigning from her current position after her husband, Abraham Williams, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. It didn’t take long for the ghouls on the radical left to display a truly shocking lack of humanity in their response to the news of Gabbard’s departure.

One of the worst and most visible responses from Democrats came from Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) who is currently running for a Senate seat. Craig took to social media platform X where she said, “See ya…” and included a link to an Axios story sharing the news about Gabbard’s resignation. Folks in the comment section were quick to condemn her post as callous and cold.

“Really Angie? Her husband has a rare form of bone cancer. You are better than this,” one user said. “Wow! Just…wow. For someone that begs people to support her lifestyle…I would expect you to be a bit more sympathetic. Well…I am sure your other LGBTQ friends in the Mickey Marx Playhouse will be happy to hold your hand while you scream about your victimhood. I wish you no luck in your endeavors,” another wrote.

“No statement to clarify whether you knew for what reason she is resigning when making such an insensitive statement? You are one disgusting fool who this MN voter will tell everyone I know to avoid supporting you,” a third individual commented. “This shows the entire world what a disgusting human being and TRAITOR you are. Rot in h*ll after going through a military tribunal at Gitmo,” someone else posted.

Sadly, Craig wasn’t the only Democrat to offer a rather disgusting response to the news of Gabbard’s resignation. According to Yahoo News, several guests on CNN expressed harsh sentiments about the former Democrat, including former Deputy DNI Beth Sanner, who first offered condolences for Williams’ diagnosis before saying that Gabbard’s title stood for “Do Not Invite.”

Sen. Adam “Shifty” Schiff (D-CA) got on his social media account and stated that her resignation was the only positive contribution Gabbard made to the role. “While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation’s national security is her resignation,” Schiff stated in an X post.

Gabbard first took office in February 2025, while also serving as a U.S. Army Reserve officer and combat veteran. She also served several terms in Congress as a Democrat before fleeing from the party to become an independent and later joining the Republican Party. In her official resignation letter, Gabbard said that her husband has been her “rock” throughout their 11 years of marriage, especially during difficult deployments overseas.

She then said that she “cannot in good conscience ask him to face this fight alone while I continue in this demanding and time-consuming position.” President Donald Trump responded to Gabbard’s resignation on Truth Social, saying that she “rightfully wants to support her husband during a tough battle.” Trump went on to add, “I have no doubt he will soon be better than ever. Tulsi has done an incredible job, and we will miss her.”
