“Proving that Trump was right about him all along”: RINO Slammed after Revealing How He Detests MAGA, Has Long Betrayed Republicans Intentionally

Speaking to Politico in an interview, finally outgoing RINO Senator Thom Tillis revealed explained how he has always detested the MAGA movement and worked to undermine it, leading to angry commenters sounding off on the idea that Tillis was ever in a position of power or prominence in Republican politics, and noting that Trump has always been right about him.

As background, Sen. Tillis, a longtime RINO US Senator for North Carolina, is finally going to be out of the Senate after this term. He has long been detested by MAGA for refusing to back the president’s agenda, and indeed for working with Democrats to try to dismantle, delay, and block that agenda.

Speaking to Politico about the president and the president’s anti-weaponization fund, Sen. Tillis said, “I’ve made it clear to the president that my beef is with people who are giving him some sense that some of the decisions he makes are not without significant consequence. And the consequence, in my opinion, is his legacy, and our election in November.”

Continuing, the senator patted himself on the back for being a frequent troublemaker who has tried to block and stop President Trump, noting proudly that he long blocked Kevin Warsh’s Federal Reserve nomination, that he has torpedoed the president’s nominees, and that he wants to “nuke” the Trump “anti-weaponization” fund won as part of a lawsuit settlement with the IRS.

Tillis also went berserk over Comey being indicted for threatening to assassinate the president, saying, “I’m thinking about the picture that right now is the only basis I have for a new indictment against Comey. Some of the other bogus lawsuits from now no-longer-acting acting U.S. attorneys. All that, I want to know whose fingerprints were on it.”

And, of course, after proudly discussing all the ways he has attacked Trump, Tillis proudly noted how he wants to work with Democrats. He said, “That’s why we’ve got to lower the temperature, try to find ways to work with Democrats. My guess is, if they get a gavel in the House, they will come in with a fury and vindictiveness that I don’t know what happens in that Congress next year. The party that starts acting like the consensus builder, they’re the ones who are going to gain this nation back and govern it again. In between, it looks like it’s just going to be political ping pong, which is unproductive and really not in the best interest of the American people.”

As could be expected, he was raked over the coals for his comments as conservatives sounded off on X. One poster, for example, said, “RESISTANCE: Senator Thom Tillis came clean and admitted to Politico he opposes Trump and the entire GOP agenda. The lame duck RINO says he’ll spend his last months blocking everything the President wants. We’re seeing the same behavior from Cassidy, Cornyn, and even Thune. The mask is coming off…”

Responding in a quote tweet, Laura Ingraham said, “Proving that Trump was right about him all along.” Another commenter, this one commenting on Ingraham’s post, said, “Hes a system first big government Drmocrat with an R next to his name. He isnt the only one. The party is drowning in men like him.”
