In a terribly sad and scary announcement that she posted to Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., and mother of five children, namely the already famous Kai Trump, revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She said that she underwent a medical procedure to start trying to correct the matter, and otherwise asked for privacy as she tries to deal with it.
Beginning the post, Vanessa admitted from the start that she had a “personal health update” to share with her audience and that the update was a case of breast cancer. She said, “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.”
Continuing, she noted that she is working with her doctors and the other members of her medical team to try to put together a treatment plan for the diagnosis, and that the procedures have already started. She said, “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me.”
Adding to that, she put a brave and positive face on things, saying that she is staying hopeful as she battles the diagnosis, adding that the support of her family and friends is adding to her positive attitude. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she said.
Concluding, Vanessa wrote a message of thanks and praise to all of those fans of hers who have chimed in with kindness and support, noting that those messages mean a great deal to her. She said, “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Predictably, many people chimed in on that post with further kind messages of support. Her daughter Kai, for example, wrote, “Love you! Strongest person ever ❤️” Similarly, Ivanka Trump, her former sister in law, wrote, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.” Dan Bongino, for his part, chimed in too, writing, “God bless you in this fight.”
All sorts of other commenters chimed in, saying things like, “Sending love and strength 🙏🏻”, “Praying for your strength and a quick recovery ❤️”, “Keeping you in our prayers 🙏🙏”, and “You have an amazing family and a wonderful medical team supporting you! We know you will get through this! Prayers for you and the kids. Sending lots of love and positive energy ❤️❤️❤️”.
