WATCH: ICE Catches MS-13 Gangster Who Entered America Illegally Under Obama

A press release published by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed that on April 14, 2026, federal immigration officers launched an operation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, and the Florida Highway Patrol, that resulted in the arrest of Luis Merary Peralta-Sevilla, a criminal illegal alien hailing from Honduras who is a confirmed member of the violent MS-13 gang.

“The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Peralta-Sevilla during a coordinated vehicle stop, and ICE took him into custody without incident,” ICE Director Todd M. Lyons went on to say. “He is a member of MS-13, a designated foreign terrorist organization, and he’s currently pending removal proceedings with a Department of Justice immigration judge. He’ll stay in our custody pending the outcome of those proceedings.”

Local law enforcement officers in Florida seized Peralta-Sevilla’s vehicle due to driving without a valid driver’s license. The suspect first illegally entered the country in July 2023. Border Patrol agents encountered Peralta-Sevilla near Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, where he confessed to being a citizen and national of Honduras.

The press release stated that he acknowledged he was in the U.S. illegally. A Justice Department immigration judge granted him bond and he then remained in the country pending removal proceedings. His next court appearance was scheduled for April 2027. Peralta-Sevilla is now being held in the Palm Beach County Jail pending transfer to ICE custody for removal proceedings.

ICE also shared a video of Peralta-Sevilla’s arrest with Fox News. In the clip, an officer can be heard yelling at the suspect after he was pulled over, “Driver, hands out the window, now!” A translator then repeats the command in Spanish. After he was put in handcuffs, officers then circled the truck he was driving. Law enforcement officers found “some minor narcotics” in the vehicle. It should also be noted that a squatted truck is illegal in Florida and would have been reason enough to pull the driver over.

“What happened today is just another perfect display of our partnership with our local law enforcement, the Florida Highway Patrol and other federal partners,” an ICE deputy said in the clip. “We got a lead on this individual here, Honduran national. He’s associated with the MS-13 transnational gang, is also a known suspected terrorist.”

One person commented on the video shared by Fox on Facebook, saying, “That’s how you get arrested without resisting.” The comment was aimed at the left who continually complain about incidents where suspects are shot during arrest, but ignore the fact that most of those individuals violently resist arrest. Another cracked a joke, saying, “Looks like the drywall crew will be one short tomorrow.”

A third user quoted the famous rap classic “Ice, Ice, Baby” by Vanilla Ice to heap praise on ICE agents for the arrest, writing, “Ice, ice, ice baby.” Someone else made a cheeky reference to popular anime “Pokemon,” commenting, “Gotta catch ’em all!” Someone also cracked a joke, saying, “I kinda would like the squatted truck since he won’t need it anymore.”
