Hakeem Jeffries Lashes Out in Berserk Temper Tantrum after Trump Calls for Him to Be Charged for Inciting Violence

President Donald J. Trump took to social media after he was attacked yet again by another would-be assassin, this time during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and sounded off on Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for how he has allegedly incited violence against Republicans with his intemperate language.

As background, Jeffries, when describing his political battle with President Trump and the Republicans generally, vowed to use “maximum warfare” to push back on Republican redistricting efforts. That commentary came just days before the shooting at the correspondents’ dinner, and led to much fury directed his way by Republicans.

“The notion that any of us are concerned with so-called criticism from these phony Republicans as it relates to anything that has been said — certainly as it relates to the comment related to ‘maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time,’ in connection to the redistricting battle that Republicans launched — I stand by it,” he said. He added, “You can continue to criticize me for it. I don’t give a damn about your criticism.”

Trump then responded with fury to the House Minority Leader’s language. He said, in a post that showed Jeffries and his comment next to footage from the attack, “This lunatic, Hakeem “Low IQ” Jeffries, should be charged with INCITING VIOLENCE! The Radical Left Democrats actually want to Destroy our Country. President DJT”

Jeffries responded in an angry tirade of a video posted to Instagram in which he ranted and raved about the president’s call for him to face arrest. “What’s up, y’all? The [New York] Knicks are up two-zip, I’m feeling good, and then I got to wake up this morning and deal with another deranged rant from an out-of-control president, threatening to criminally prosecute me,” the House Minority Leader said.

He added, further whining in the ridiculous video, “You ain’t intimidating a damn person. We’re going to continue to stay on your case, but what’s wrong with you, bro? Why do I stay on your mind? You ain’t got nothing better to do? Gas prices are surging, grocery bills are out of control, the American people are drowning in your failed economy, and you ain’t got nothing better to do but to think about me?”

This wasn’t the first time that Trump has called Jeffries low-IQ. In fact, he did so in a very similar Truth Social post just days beforehand, writing, “Hakeem Jeffries, a Low IQ individual, said our Supreme Court is ‘illegitimate.’ After saying such a thing, isn’t he subject to Impeachment? I got impeached for A PERFECT PHONE CALL. Where are you Republicans? Why not get it started? They’ll be doing this to me!”

Jeffries then tried to respond to that with mockery on X, saying, “Jeffries Derangement Syndrome.” But commenters roasted him for that, saying, “No, he’s just calling an idiot an idiot” and “You’re so jealous of Trump you want a derangement syndrome named after yourself 🤣 He lives in your pea sized brain rent free…”
