WATCH: Trump Secretary Continues Purging Thousands of Fraudsters from EBT, Reveals Thousands of EBT Fraudsters Drive Luxury Vehicles

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins stated on April 28, 2026, that a recent review discovered thousands of Americans receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in a single state are driving around in luxury cars. Rollins opted not to reveal the state, only saying it was led by a Republican, however, she went on to say that a closer examination of the SNAP program revealed thousands of individuals are receiving benefits and showing up to stores in Bentleys and Teslas.

The study was conducted by the Foundation for Government Accountability, which uncovered nearly 14,000 luxury vehicles belonging to food stamp enrollees, with the most common brand being Lexus. Results found that 3,636 food stamp recipients are cruising around this particular state in Lexus cars, while 2,098 drive Teslas, and 1,914 are driving BMWs, 1,131 are driving Cadillacs, 11 drive Lamborghinis, three drive Bentleys and three drive Ferraris.

“This is just in one state,” Rollins went on to say about the study’s findings. “We need to defend our nutrition programs for those most in need, not for scammers gaming the system. These individuals are taking advantage of the American taxpayer. And together with [the vice president’s] Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, this ends NOW.”

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The study also discovered that 306 of these individuals are driving Land Rovers, 244 drive Alfa Romeos, 141 drive Porsches, and 59 are driving Jaguars, according to a report from Just the News. Luxury car brands are among the most expensive vehicles in the country. The average cost of a Lamborghini, for example, is over $680,000.

Ferraris are are worth more than $600,000 and Bentleys cost between $250,000 to $414,000. Rollins announced that 4.3 million folks have been taken off of food stamps under the Trump administration to date. SNAP benefits were given to 42.8 million people in January 2025 and 38.5 million in January 2026. A video clip of Rollins going over the data has been going viral on social media and users have been expressing their frustration with the matter.

“If I had someone buying me my food, paying my utilities and giving me health insurance I could afford a few luxuries also!” one individual commented on the video clip. Another individual expressed the struggle of working class Americans who have to make sacrifices in order to sustain themselves while not relying on government assistance, joking, “I’m still trying to figure out which one thing I can add to my one piece of chicken, one tortilla, and piece of broccoli. Guess it can’t be a Ferrari, huh?”

One individual attempted to defend the fraud by writing, “How does anyone know their personal history? They could be older versions of vehicles. People are allowed one vehicle. Maybe they owned it before misfortune came upon it? People have strict protocol they have to have in order to be eligible and document everything.”

Another person wrote, “If these findings are verified, then it highlights a serious need for stronger accountability systems in public assistance programs. SNAP is meant to support the truly vulnerable, not be exploited, so protecting its integrity is essential.” A user stated they witnessed this kind of fraud when their children were on benefits, saying, “Used to see it when my kids were on it and you had to go into the office to do interview. Usually Mercedes and Escalades. This was in Cleburne Texas.”
